Legitimately don't care. I've seen weirder going to anime cons or walking around Walmart. Fursuits are basically just someone's personal mascot they invested too much money into anyways. As long as they're not being weird at people, let them be weird in peace

To each their own, of course, even though I can't help but find them a little weird

I genuinely don't understand the hate people have for them. I delivered some Doordash to a hotel hosting a furry con last week and they were all super nice and helpful. Some of them even gave me their place in line for the elevators so I could deliver the food faster.
I hear a lot of people get weirded out about the fetish aspect, but look at the forum we're on. People in glass houses and all that.
Sure, I'm not a furry, but as long as no one is hurting anyone I don't see why its any of my business what anyone else gets up to.

Ever seen a real furry? The people who wear full on wolf suits type of furries. I've only seen it once in public and I was so shocked I couldnt stop staring at them. They werent even doing anything bad. Just a person in a furry suit in public.
I live in a really nice country but I still think you'd get beat tf up doing that here. Something's just off about it to me.

There is a lot of misrepresentation and people who just assume the worst, I am one, or at least I use to be, need to redo the suit but it's a lot of time and effort involved which I don't have at the moment, I made my own and it came out pretty good actually.. the cost for a good one can be well into the 10s of thousands, you can get a decent one for roughly 5-7000.. there are those out there that are the worst of us and that's all you hear about. All of the conventions have 1 or more charities that all prophets go to, we've raised TONS of money for different charities.

The Draw of it to me is to just have fun, put on shows interact with the public (whom are willing) Lots like to get pictures with us. I love making peoples day to see people that light up when they approach you spread some magic or what not. I went bar hopping in PA quite a bit ago at a con, in suit and everybody loves a giant stuffed animal that drinks with them lol single time of the year when I would drink the most but spend the least amount on alcohol haha My girlfriend is an artist. I once hosted a furry Karaoke room at a convention so that was fun.

For some it's a way to battle social anxiety, you can have people that really have a hard time interacting with people on a day to day level due to this but when they put on the suit they can be free of that because noone knows who they are.

Before you judge give people a fair chance. Most are really nice and non judgemental and just like to have fun being someone else for a bit.

TBH the overly sexual aspects of it is pretty cringe to most of us as well

HA I've seen a dude in fursuit riding his modercycle out my way there's a whole sub group of "Biker Furs" or "Car Furs" among others.

have any questions? ask the furry lol

To each their own and not kink shaming, but I'll never understand them.

Personally it's not a kink thing for me I never was into the sexual aspect of it, I mean sure collar and leash play is fun I am a Master and I have a pet, but that's just bdsm but fluffier you have Master/Slave Owner/Pet kinda the same thing or Predator/Prey but it wasn't the sexual stuff that got me into it . and I've played a couple of the furry adult games they are ok but not a main focus of mine

Not my think IRL or any content for that matter, I would rank it below beastiality tbh

As long as they aren't lifting their leg and pissing on mine....you do you

Not my thing, but don't mind consenting adults getting their freak on.

There is a WIDE spectrum there for 'furries' and people tend to have kneejerk reactions when they're brought up.

If you're talking about someone wearing a fursuit? Eh. It's cool. Its like cosplay and if it's what they want to do that's awesome.
If you ever see someone wearing a real high quality fursuit I HIGHLY recommend just saying hi and asking them about it. Like other people have mentioned they are RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE so the person wearing it either has a lot of passion in their craft or is invested enough in it to dump cash into their passion.

Remember, people in fursuits are still people. Don't hate them for it. You don't have to agree with the more niche or deviant aspects of the furry culture, but the person is fine.

"Yo! Nice suit!" is easy enough to acknowledge them and they'll simply response with "Thanks".
