I don't mind them but I prefer if there is other things to do besides trying to survive and fuck everything on the island.

I think a real Survivor game meshed with porn and story elements could be great.

But very hard to pull off for a small dev team.

I would love this, as long as the survival elements aren't TOO grindy or punishing. I actually have an idea on the back burner for something like this. Not on an island, but more of a "The Stand" or "Swan Song" kind of situation... post viral apocalyse where the virus wiped out almost everyone. Dunno if it will ever see the light of day, but I drag out the docs every now and then and update it with story/plot ideas or game mechanics... then shelve it to go back to work on my sort-of current project.

I've never found one that I've liked all that much, the enviroment's are very limited by their nature.

I like the island games that don't have the grind. Setting doesn't affect me much.


What I would to see is a realistic game where two people that hate each other have to interact. I don't know how it ends, either both in love or both dead, but a good psychological progression would be impressive.

If you like to build, dig, swim,grow stuff, etc and like smols then Lisland is in development.

I like it a lot in theory, it's a pretty inherently dramatic concept. There's also just something about the dynamic about being the only guy around with a bevy of girls, which is the scenario in most (all?) of these games. It breeds desperation in a fun way.

Anyone played Pokkalah? It's a 8 year old 2-d flash game, but technically it is about surviving on a island.

Being stranded on a paradise island with group of hot girls is one of my top fantasies. I often make lists in my head of what models, actresses or VN characters whom I'd like to be stranded with.

But of course the setting would have to be good, so that it would be little bit of a survival and plenty of having fun, instead of struggling not to die on hunger and thirst. Big enough island to have it's own lake/river system. Plenty of fruits with continual growth season.
