Is it abandoned, or ongoing?

Depends on who you ask. According to the dev updates take so long because he's in a 3rd-world-shit-hole were electricity isn't reliable. But the usual AVN site rules where no update or activity after 12 months = abandoned, and it's been over 15 months. Personally I smell bullshit, he's still scamming over $500/mo from SS gullibles. If that was the legit problem he could have went to Aliexpress to buy his own solar power system, batteries and all, with that by now. For an average person 5kW is plenty, and for just the render rig 2kW is enough, assuming they're in South America or Africa rather than the poles.

NXP has shown me hundreds of images from the update. They are all beautiful. So, despite the persistent silence of the dev, the game is very sexy. And alive. I will post some images here. IF master doesn't post himself.

No actual AVN update released in 18 months = dead, regardless of whatever excuses get posted wherever. Sure, it can still happen after, say, 30 months and then the abandoned tag will get removed after the "resurrection" but that seldom happens so that's probably almost religion-level false hope, like expecting Jesus to come back after he's been dead for almost 2000 years.

I know, ffs, half the thread is bitching about it being abandoned and not even a day ago I reposted the "dead" meme along with a big circled "abandoned" tag capture. Only thing left that's not been done yet to prevent the blind people from asking stupid questions about the next update over and over is the site itself refusing to list dead unfinished AVNs (which I dunno why it does anyway, not sure why people do the equivalent of settling for half a movie before the producer ran over budget and out of money and gave up on it as a result but distributed what's already been filmed to theaters anyway).

True enough. If one wants to make more than a regular job or even at least close to equal to it 99.9% of the time writing a porno story is not the way to do it. The few that get completed these days were passion projects done mostly for fun rather than the money of a whole $1/hr or whatever.
