I understand ... you see one or two youtube videos and a few good news articles and before you realize it you suddenly have 900 tabs open

I keep them in different browser windows, so one's youtube videos that looked interesting but I haven't watched yet, one's documentation for whatever I'm working on, one is the various web-message things and one's porn.

127 tabs in porn alone, another 130 youtube videos to watch, and I just finished a project so "only" 30 tabs in that one.

also in case anyone else is a serial tab hoarder, something that might help you if you're on firefox is the treestyletab extension, not sure if it's available on other browsers, but in my case it worked for a while in helping me organize and cut down on the tabs... for a while

but yeah each window has a specific purpose and the tabs are organised according to that inside it, there is a method to my madness

Yeah, this. Treestyletabs is fucking awesome. you have way more horizontal space than vertical on your screen, and trying to read things so wide you have to move your head back and forth sucks. So tabs stop taking up precious vertical pixels and take up the plentiful horizontal pixels instead.

also f1 hides them instantly (unless a shitty website uses it as a hotkey, looking at you discord)

I usually have 7 or 8 tabs open. Several anime tabs, 2 AVN websites, a yandex tab. Of course, if I am actively searching for porn, I could have up to 25 tabs open. I have to open a tab for each interesting video, but must keep searching for more rare videos until satisfied.

I have 14 split between 2 monitors and a tab manager extension that allows me to save and categorize different sets of tabs. Any people with above 20 tabs are insane people to be avoided at all costs
