I have a theory that perverts always have the most tabs open compared to purer members of society.

Your theory is absolutely true and I'm almost certain of it. On several of my old phones I had hundreds of porn tabs open organized by website, genre, content, and type of porn. To the extent of my knowledge the most I'd ever had opened at any point is around 600-700. I'm glad I can work with less, as I now open porn tabs for a day/few days before deleting them even if I haven't watched some of them, almost like a sinful mandala. Also having less tabs open saved just a bot of space on my phone so there's that too.

My tabs get utterly out of control at work, because I'm constantly jumping into different apps, the ticketing system, documentation, etc. After a while I can't read the tab headers any more so I end up opening up second or third copies of the same one because I am in a hurry.
At the end of the week I usually have 3-4 Chrome windows open, each with 40+ tabs.

Currently 2. Typically I have 1. I'll open threads up in multiple tabs and close them as I go through new content, but otherwise I rarely have a reason for more than 1 tab to be open at a time.

Congrats, I've currently got 92, though about half of those are in incognito, so once i turn off my computer I'll be down to 49. I've had some of these tabs open for years.

I don't know about this theory. I'm pretty pervy but I hate browser tabs being open.
