No post on Patreon at all since August. It's 0.4, time to get abandoned like most I guess. Can't really blame him if there's no money in it, and he mentioned he wasn't even covering the cost to make it (that actually seldom happens anymore, these are made mostly for fun rather than profit now, certainly at least for the first couple years). Also Patreon is probably considered a part of the problem now, as more and more people are fed up supporting an AVN there only for it to be banned for stupid reasons later (ie incest or underage cartoon sex in the flashbacks like this one) or forcing devs to rework it to shit supporters didn't sign up for when it starts making enough money to get their attention (with their support money wasted if they were expecting it to get completed either at all or as the dev intended/originally promised).

Yeah exactly. I understand wanting to make choices matter, but no point in making it that complicated, it just annoys players and is extra headaches for coders, esp when multiple "right choices" are needed to unlock a single scene like fucking your daughter, that's too much like real life when it needs a walkthrough for the completed version. Only other AVN that comes close to this in complexity I can remember is The Last Challenge, but at least those choices end up unlocking totally different LI paths and alter variables with other characters, though that's only on 0.2 (ie if you fuck Brenda and cum inside her/end up getting her pregnant in a future update that will probably really piss off her 2 brothers as well as your psycho ex, probably even if you decided to dump her for good).

Just played this and I have to say it had promise. There's just two things that I'm not a fan of:

1. At the very beginning of the game ffs please just decide for the players on what the characters are and their relationship for the story. The writing very much points to them being biological family which are sisters, dad and mom. I can't tell you how many times I had to change the relationships because the default "landlord and landlady" threw me off. Some dialogue wouldn't even make sense if you didn't change it to parents, sister, mom, dad ect. It quickly killed the immersivess for me. Optional age thing is one thing, but not the optional family or relationships. Please establish them as a solid story.

2. I've never saw a game with so much branching paths mfg. They quickly got annoying. He ruined the game with that alone. The content is honestly nice, but goddamn bro he just couldn't chill on the alternate paths. I had like 5 save pages due different path takes alone. I honestly prefer kinetic stories moreso (cause I hate making decisions tbh) but if you are going to to do a branch path story there shouldn't be no more than 3. Honestly 3 itself is pushing it, that's just if you insist on having multiple paths. 1 or 2 is ideal. He has to figure out a way to combine all those branches path stories and set them in 1 or 2 (maybe 3 if he has to insist) paths. It's just too much bro. A tree of choices is too much for anybody.

I only played the 0.3 version on Android. Seeing as this will likely be abandoned now due to certain reasons and complaints similar to the ones I made, is there anyone who has the 0.4 version for Android? Might as well fully play it before calling it quits.

I didn't see this problem, but you might try rolling back a few times. Or, you could try loading an earlier save (if you have one) or else an automatic save (under the A page of saves, rather than a normal page number). It's possible an older save like one of these could work for you.

It's far more effective to complain with one's wallet: quit giving money to anyone on Patreon like I did years ago. If everyone actually did that 1 of 2 things would eventually happen: Patreon would change their payment system and their TOS as necessary if they were in danger of going out of business as a result or devs would quit using Patreon and go to some other more lenient platform where they could make what they wanted when they started getting 0 money by putting their AVN on Patreon. Personally I'd just rent a PO Box if I had to and have people mail me cash/check payments in the mail like used to be done (and still is, that option never went away, it's just people now want instant gratification so use it far less), in lieu of crypto payments, or simply do it for free (I'm leaning toward the latter option, no money to follow = make whatever outrageous/disgusting/demented/perverted shit you want that doesn't even need to be legal).

I would bet money the "videos" are things like YouTube reactors watching full-length movies and similar; and "writing" is going to be traditional writing (books, poems, essays, newsletters, etc.) and not VNs. Otherwise, I'm sure they would've listed "games" since most folks outside of the culture assume VNs = games and not what they actually are: visual novels. So with that information, Patreon would be only minimally affected if devs migrated to Boosty or wherever. But it definitely would get creators on platforms friendlier to the content they want to create.

Oh I know, back in 2017 before their bullshit started I had $150+ a month going not just to loli/incest AVN devs but a bunch of people that run their own teaching series, making mystery video series, crime documentaries, youtube videos, etc. Probably 30-40 creators in total. I canceled all of it, as I lived just fine without them before I subbed simply because I don't want 8% of my money funding censorship and them almost getting Dating My Daughter canceled/abandoend just pissed me right off, didn't care where the other 92% of the money was going by that point (my condolences to those collateral-damage creators, give me a physical address and a video link and I'll start mailing you a monthly or quarterly check). Recently just did the same thing with SS and their anti-lolis, fuck them (aside from them being a bunch of deceptive liars).

Sorry but I might be doing something wrong... Am I supposed to drag the game/executable/etc on top of the main 2.5 game or are they supposed to start up almost like stand alone games? I am still a bit new with VN tech XD

Edit: I figured it out by experimenting. I made a new folder with the 2.5 and dropped the 3 on top of the folders in 2.5 and then after playing did the same with 4. Love this game.

Pretty convoluted, slow, but well done coding/graphics wise. WAYYYYY too many hoops to go through to make this suitable for 'adult audiences'. Common, roommates vs family. It's actually worse than STEP-sisters that get stuck in dryers and under beds lol. Not for me.

Not wanting to physically go to a mail box is just being a lazy fuck, esp if one lives in a city like most do where a box is probably less than 5 blocks away (hell in the US even if not in a city the mail man will still stop to pick it up 5 days a week if the flag on the box is raised). I still do every month whenever possible since I do anyway just to avoid giving the credit card companies money whenever possible (because they are the main assholes ultimately responsible for most of the internet's censorship). People like me are the probably the main reason cash and checks still exist in 2025. Paying a dev I like by mail would take all of an extra 20-30 seconds to write an extra check and put it in an envelope and drop it off with the other mail I'm sending out very 1-3 months anyway.

And yes, you are right, these days most people are spoiled lazy fucks that want instant gratification, the credit card companies and by extension censorship thrive on that mentality. It was talked about awhile back that this site was supposedly integrating it's own payment/creator support system as well, but that kinda died down of late. I'm guessing because unless it was crypto-based setting up an internal Paypal-like system so the site was AVN advertising + Patreon clone but with minimal content rules would cost something like $10-20M to set up. I'm probably way lowballing that too as I don't work in the banking industry, but given even trillion-dollar companies like Amazon still don't process their own payments it's certainly not cheap to do yourself (most certainly by design, Visa/MC pays well for their lobbying Congress and their legal bribery through PAC's to legally regulate the hell out of it to minimize competition by increasing the cost of a new startup, the guys that started Paypal were already billionaires to begin with) and this site seems it can barely afford the $300/mo it takes just to keep running. What devs and businessmen are doing for now is simply creating new platforms and switching to them every few years until the credit card companies crackdown on them. First Patreon, then everyone moved to SS, then from SS to Unifans due to their loli ban. Maybe 3rd time's the charm? They have no content rules I know of and also have a crypto payment option so might outlast SS's useful ~5 years.

It was probably abandoned even before that, just not official yet, due to how much the complexity of the choices exploded last update (a pain in the ass for both devs and readers). This is why there's very few devs left that still get my support money, and those are loli devs not on Patreon or SS that have a track record of finished AVNs (they've been at it for several years). It does kinda suck that daddy didn't even get to lick his youngest daughter's pussy in the present until she had her first orgasm in his mouth, but oh well.
