Recently played this one, and it's not too bad, a pretty decent game, not too long or too short, but just right. But like someone else here said, there are some darker topics touched upon in this game, so be warned if you're sensitive to darker and emotionally heavy subjects like that. And while I thought it was a pretty decent game, I do have one gripe with it, and it is in regards to one of the previously mentioned darker parts in the game, so stop reading this right now, if that may trigger you in a bad way. You have been warned, so if you keep reading beyond this point, that's on you.
In the part of the story about what happened in the past between the MC and Isabella, I must admit I had a hard time with that segment, but that's not really what I had the biggest issue with in itself, although it was tough to see and read, as it unfolded before you. But what irks me a little bit about that whole branch of the story, is that it's part of the main story too, but if I remember correctly, we never learned what happened with Bella after she was gone from the house, or what happened to the other girls that were "unaccounted" for in the game. Nor was there any chapter dealing with that part of the storyline, and it could easily have been part of the ending, just like the game has a prologue, there could have been an epilogue, called 'Redemption for Bella'. And you could show what happened to those other girls, and a scene with the MC meeting Bella again, and apologizing to her, with hugs and cuddles galore.
And I saw what the dev said in the end credits, so I know it's very unlikely to happen, but since the dev also said he might revisit certain characters in standalone chapters, 'Redemption for Bella', would be my number one pick. Because that scene is so hard to watch, and despite what Bella said to the MC, you're left feeling like a total piece of shit, so it would be nice to see some sort of "closure" to that whole ordeal, that leaves you drained, but at the same time eager and to keep playing the game, in anticipation of such a redemption scene, that never comes. Because as it stands now, that part feels too rough, without said payoff/closure coming later. And it's also what makes me say, that if I was to rate this game as it is now, I would give it a 5 or a 6 out of 10. But if we had 'Redemption for Bella' in the game, I could add 2 more points to the game's total score.
On another (and lighter) note, way to shoutout LewdCorner, dev,(see the two "black" pics) and the whole 'Julia's gamelist' segment was good too, I actually played Ripples becuse of that, which I had downloaded previously, but never got to play, as it was lost due to an external harddrive failing on me, lost the better part of 1 TB of data, including 80-90 games, some of which I were intending to keep for good. And that game was pretty decent too, and there's another game from that list, that I'm also gonna try. Because getting a rundown of what's in a game, along with pictures to go with the description, an in-depth analysis is always better than just a short overview. So thanks again, for including that in the game, although it came outta nowhere, was not expecting that at all, but most welcome.
Oh, and that title image is a composite I did myself, since the LC version didn't have the title on the picture, just the LC logo. And to both LC and the dev, feel free to use my suggestions here, or in the case of LC, the picture I made. And thanks for reading this post/review, whoever you might be.
