Overview:
The Demon Lord was defeated by the hero's party. With his dying breath, he scattered his magical power across the world.
This power transformed into objects known as "Dark Artifacts," choosing humans with strong desires as their masters.
Humans who obtained these Dark Artifacts abused their power to fulfill their own desires.
Sensing the danger of the Dark Artifacts, the Magic Association decided to cooperate with the hero's party to recover them.
Elis, a sister belonging to the hero's party, was summoned by the Sister Superior and went to the Seirei Church to which she belonged.
There, she learned about a certain religion that had rapidly expanded its influence recently.
Suspecting that the religion was using Dark Artifacts to brainwash people, Elis decided to investigate.
After receiving a proposal for an inspection from the cult's leader, Elis entered the religious facility...
