I think the ingame progress is actually pretty fast but since the updates take a while to come it feels like it is progressing slowly.

It could always be faster, but in the end, its the quality that matters . And better to have a bigger update from time to time, than updates that contains 2 renders....

Yea I prefer bigger updates as well. In theory very frequent updates should keep the player interested but, I end up losing interest in the games that do that. It's hard to immerse yourself in the story and characters when you're playing the game for like 10 minutes every time.
