...again, we don't know that and now all that is up in the air too. Mei might not even be a love interest. The other teachers that got introduced, the other students, the other cheerleaders... we have zero reason to expect any of them to be love interests now...

To help allay some worries until Shaddy chimes in: as I mentioned in the spoilered part of my original post about all this, a bunch of variables to track the times you've creampied a girl were added in 0.7, for (*almost) all of the girls that didn't already have them (save for Robert's daughters and niece, and Rhoda obviously).

Chloe, Claire, Kat, Izzy, and Rose already had variables. And 0.7 added them for Britany, Marisol, Mei, Olivia, Ashley, Shanice, Josefina, Jazmine, Kimi, Lani, Marianne (Dr. Travis/the headmistress), Amelia, Esmerelda, and Susan.

*Edit: Adding this part to mention that the only other girls that have names that didn't get a creampie variable are: the Katie that stumbled at the cheerleader tryouts, Veronica (the gym co-owner), and Violet (waitress at the restaurant during Izzy's date). And Michelle, for obvious reasons.

I'm just expressing my personal attitude to what might happen next if Red starts reaching out to Robert's girls without first finding out how things are in Robert's family - I'll obviously feel very uncomfortable, hand on heart.
Personally, I'm speaking specifically about myself, I don't look at Robert's girls with interest. I don't look at them yet, because I don't know how things are between Robert and his daughters. I've forbidden myself to do so for now, so as not to be disappointed.
However, if I've studied Red's character well enough, he's not capable of such unworthy behavior, he's a fairly protective parent and will probably treat Robert's girls the same way, well, except for the fact that Robert's girls themselves start pestering Red with the goal of being included in his harem.

but(!!!) if I find out that Robert's girls are "free" and Robert himself has no plans for them (and love them exactly as daughters and daughters only), I will mentally tell the Red FAS!

however, looking at the fact that one of the daughters came with her father, I still think that they have something... the daughter sticks close to her father, like a Personal Assistant haha (I think you understand me)... and this means that most likely I will not expect the plot to develop in a positive direction for Red and his harem, that is, I will not expect Red's harem to increase due to Robert's daughters.
I am communicating my vision and that's all. I do not touch on Red's vision, how he sees things.

I have much less of an issue with the daughters, as they arrived mostly in tandem with him. Fair enough, I understand what you mean and even respect it.

But with Maggie, the niece who arrived in the first update, got introduced with a bunch of other love interests, had no indications she wasn’t a love interest as well, is almost guaranteed to be a recurring character, has been on the main menu screen since the first release (Edit: Call me weird for it, but I would even wait to load my game between updates for the cheerleaders to show up so I could get a look at her before going into the game), and I’ve been looking forward to seeing more… Well, it lands differently for me. It’s like having the rug pulled out from under my feet after all this time. Another issue I didn’t even bring up before but I thought of since my last post is this; they are in the new character profile screens (Edit: heck, one of the first things I did when I saw the profile screens was go look for her’s to see what it said about her and look at her profile image). The other Easter egg characters, the sister and twins from Our Island, aren’t there. Because they aren’t recurring characters, let alone love interests. Yet these girls do have profiles, meaning they are going to be recurring, and if @hrmm hadn't said that they lack variables in the code and Shaddy hadn’t said above they weren’t love interests then there would be even more indication that they are right there. So if I wasn’t on the forum right now then I’d keep playing, expecting them to be love interests, only to be even more surprised by the fact that they aren’t.

There was more I thought about writing but didn’t. Personal stuff that doesn’t really have any bearing on the conversation. I’ll leave it here. If the decision is made and the girls aren’t love interests (Maggie most of all) then I don’t have much else to say about it. It just sucks. I’ll leave it at that.

Had 0.0.6 installed here, and just played 0.0.7, but I think I never got further than 1 session of playthrough initially, as there was soo much more content then I expected. Took me a couple of days to finish this to the end of 0.0.7.
So far, nice story, decent animations and models, and more content then I'd expect given the version number. Some expected and less expected plot-twists, but overall looking to go somewhere good.

I went to F95 to see if the Maggie situation was ever brought up there, and apparently it was stated that she was a donated character in that forum (though it didn't directly say she wasn't going to be a love interest as other donated characters clearly will be as far as I remember seeing when I read it earlier), so it looks like it is another case of not being in the know and going out of my way to check every little thing biting me in the butt. But I then decided to check in the more info tab of the game like the post on the other site said to get a fuller list of borrowed characters and like half the girls listed in this quoted post are borrowed or created by someone else. Kimi, Amelia, Susan, and a few others I saw there are donated/borrowed and yet seem to be love interests, so why not Maggie? Especially if the game she was supposed to be in originally might never even come out.

I just hate that because I didn't check the forums close enough or wasn't in the discord or whatever means that I've spend all this time excited about a girl just to now learn that she will never be available. That she will be around and teased and wear skimpy outfits but never be more than a display of what was lost. This is exactly the same thing that happened with The List and Loco and the twins in that game, and I just feel really bad. It makes me not want to bother with AVNs at all anymore as this just keeps happening over and over. AVNs helped me get over my porn addiction and it isn't a small thing to say that they basically saved my life when I was in a really dark place. But now so many of the games that I played and looked forward to the most have done things that just make no sense or because I'm not in the know I just get gut punched by these types of surprises. I had a few listed in my other post above but that is just a small sampling all the games that have cause these types of feelings. It seems like maybe I should just never play any game unless I ask the developer to give me a list of girls or features or whatever, but even then I've tried that and still gotten burned (Multiple devs have just straight up lied to my face and even a dev I worked with and wrote scenes for and swore would never add certain content ended up doing it).

Believe me I agree regarding Maggie, but her creator is a friend, and as long as he says no, whether he will ever release his game or not, I promised no sexual activity with her. That being said. I have been trying to convince him to let me do more than just nudity with her, considering he's told me he's probably completely given up on that game.

Would it help if I remove her from the main menu? lol

EDIT: I should also mention, other than his characters. Most of the other 'donated' characters were simply made by others, but specifically for my game. Other than Lani, but I have free reign with her.

Thanks for the reply. I hope you can convince him. Having created characters, written scenes, and even tried multiple times to work with others to make games I just can't imagine not wanting others to enjoy my stories and creations to the fullest. And it's fine for her to be in the main menu screen, by the next release hopefully I'll have come to terms with it a little better, but thanks for the offer.

It's just been a rough time for me the last few years and AVNs were one of the few outlets I had to get away from it all, but a lot of games over the past year or so have been letting me down, so to speak. Not like anyone owes me anything really, I'm just a guy on the internet. Thanks though.
