If I had a pound for all the times I've recently played a game where a mother died and sent her daughters into the arms of their father to take her place.... well, you know the rest.

Just because we've seen the premise before doesnt mean there is anything bad about it. This is a fun story about precocious daughters and a resistant, but weakening, father. Definitely fun, and plenty of shenanigans upcoming. The fact that the adult girlfriend's family is a little _closer_ too just opens up more doors.

Good renders, good script, and a promising future.

It's called not misleading your players. If those statements are there it helps at least one side of the big ntr love/hate circle jerk to know they can skip it.

Also the use of the word simp is cringe to me. But everyone is different.

So you don't think it's possible that the dev ALSO dislikes NTR and sharing? Most people either don't like NTR/sharing or don't care. Those who like them are a much smaller but more vocal audience who complain any time a dev clarifies what content will or will not be in their games.

I don't expect an answer, since I've never gotten one before to this exact same question the dozens of other times I've asked it, but I am legitimately curious: How is it remotely "cring [sic]" to clearly and unequivocally state that certain themes will not be present in a game?

ha, yeah it's such a classic setup. before I discovered VN's I used to read erotic stories/novellas so the dead mom setup was already old hat to me. I agree though when it comes right down to it so much of the story in any media is more or less the same framework we've seen a million times. it is the execution, character development and idiosyncrasies that separate one from the pack.

Having said all of that, I do like this VN too. I think it gets the pacing pretty spot on, they aren't going to color outside of the lines so they make sure to move everything along at a satisfying clip.
