Could you please point me in the direction of a post explaining the coin system? Do having a certain amount grant me access to restricted games or do I have to spend them in order to view certain content. I literally just found out that they existed this morning.

Just make real posts that engage with people in here. Also, don't spam tons of messages. You're posting way too often right now. Slow down. Good engagement with reactions will get you more coins faster.

Trust me, I'm likely the second richest (in LC coins) user on the site.

I know how to earn coins in here. It's quick and easy and plenty earn the early ranks in a day or two to a week without spamming. If we (the mods) think you're spamming, we'll delete your posts and remove the gained coins. Spamming is against the rules.

Have fun, and meet some new people. There are some great (if sometimes sill) people in here!

It's not as bad as you think unless you're just posting pointless posts that no one can relate to or something.

That's why I said to just be yourself. Say hi in that lurker thread similar to this.
"Hey. I just came back after so long. Figured since we're doing coins now, I may as well start talking." or vice versa. Would show efforts in your post and you'll get a few poopers liking your post, which gain points.

I disagree. You clearly stated that you would strip me of my coins if you deem my activity to be spam even though I had been spreading my engagement across many posts and not harassing anyone. At this point I am defeated and have accepted that the three titles that seemed interesting are just out of reach. Any motivation that I had of earning membership is gone. Thanks.

I feel like that's a massive overreaction, but you're welcome to leave, give up, or feel defeated. I don't think you need to though.

Never did I say that your activity was spam, nor did I say any of it was harassing. Try reading it again. Words like "if" make that very clear.

You're welcome to (and encouraged) to read the rules of the site. They're not scary, mean, or unfair, and are fairly easy to work with.

But I think it's reasonable for a moderator to caution someone who goes from 0 posts in a year to 10 posts in an hour followed by 10 posts in the next half an hour about the rules on the site.

Either way, welcome! I hope you decide to stay and join the conversations.

Ohhhh I remember 1st week of LC Coin introduction... There was soooo much cry about coins I got my coins for the M+ in 1st day.... I found few ppl I actually chat (and bitch) about new system and other stuff, others join in and bam M+. Few ppl got coins for premium too. I took about 2-3h or so.
If you get engaged in some topic that are interesting for you, you will get those coins in no time. If you are here just to bitch around and to find a sponsor... good luck.

There is no need to spam for coins, I could easily make 2,000 coins a day without spamming. Getting coins is the easy part, the problem is having nothing to spend them on.

For me only thing that LC got good is Game+ section, for the rest is ... too many rules. I get VIP and was disappointed with stuff that was behind "pay wall".
I made few threads, but got them deleted after rules change... So I stop to bother.

Well yes, we have plans to add a market, a lot of things like banners, frames for profiles, maybe private groups. We have a lot of ideas, but we need a lot of testing and discussions to see what would be the implications and the outcome of giving users that much freedom. We're open to ideas, anyway.
