I like harems and pregnancies.
I avoid NTRs, well I try the game and see if it's avoidable, if not I drop it

Any porn game that was clearly made by someone more interested in making a game than porn.

I want my porn games to be simple, predictable, and for my skill/decisions in the game to have a direct mechanical link to the porn. A shoot-em-up where you earn points that you can then use to buy a sex scene is not a porn game. It's a game with porn. A stealth game where you're naked and have to get to the other side of the area while avoiding the attention of patrolling enemies IS a porn game, because the sexual situation is gamified with a direct mechanical link.

Ironically, the same outcome happens when the game is made by someone who doesn't really know how/wants to make a game. You end up with a CG hunter, playing a generic RPG, grinding out uninspired enemies, filling quests that only exist to pad the time between the actual porn.

I am 90% off the time put off by real people in h-games specifically for sex scenes as they're usually ultra low quality and with uglier actors so might as well just watch a normal porno i however don't mind real images being used in a comedic way in a game or during non h-scenes as long as it's not too much off it

I'm a fan of sandbox if they're done right (few are). Repeatable content with variations based on character stats is fun. The Headmaster, for example.

Generally, I only avoid games based on undesirable fetishes, so the option to avoid certain content is always appreciated.

The game engine doesn't matter for me. I prefer 3DCG over AI or hand-drawn because I like the consistency in models.
This is excatly me too

Main Likes: Group, Incest, Multiple Pen, Sharing.
Avoid: Torture, Scat, those kinda things.
Engine: Ren'Py

Most Wolf RPG games, since they are generally good and polished
Ren'py and RPG Maker are hit and miss for me
Unreal Engine is mostly unoptimized
and Godot is fairly new for me but it shows some potential

I generally avoid AI art and DaZ/VAM games since the models always just look creepy/uncanny to me. My favourites are always hand-drawn art, and I also really like RPG Maker games.

Ofc avoid NTR/sharing/swinging (if non-avoidable), but I'm also iffy on Sandbox. Some of them aren't bad, like just free roams where you click to get scenes in whatever order etc. The ones with heavy grinding are generally bad. Replay the same scene 20x because you get "1 point" and you need "20 points" to the next scene, rinse and repeat.
It's also hard to avoid directly, but games where there is a FMC and it's more rape-focused, but you can't choose when and where (and if) the FMC gets railed. I.e. there is a forced scene where she loses her virginity for no reason other than "that's the story/world lol".

Content aside I avoid almost everything that isn't a Renpy or Renpy style narrative experience. Every adult game I've played has had dogshit gameplay systems designed by someone with no idea what they were doing, like all the weird pseudo-RPG games that expect you to grind the same actions over and over to build up points, etc.

Tbf, there are some games made in Renpy that does that. So you're stuck with either clicking (why would you do this?) through it all like 20x, or you click the thing, hold ctrl, go to sleep/rest/whatever -> next day, click thing, hold ctrl

Mostly games with AI-generated art. I have nothing against AI, but if a game uses it, the art should be made with enough care and polish that you can't even tell it was made by AI. I'm not trying to delude myself, I'm just tired of seeing the same AI art style with the exact same facial expressions and lighting all the time.

I personally tend to prefer games with a good story or background, the ones that make u fall in love with the characters. Also they have to look good, ofc, I tend to avoid ai art and such bc they always look so clumsy and artificial.

I tend to prefer 3d ones, but 2d they're also so good, and I tend to like big games that have much content than little games.

I will try most anything that has a decent story to follow, unless it is sandbox. Good or even exceptional visuals can't compensate for poor storytelling. Nothing makes a sandbox worth downloading. Yasmine Innocence is a prime example of this, absolutely spectacular preview pictures, but sandbox, so no sub from me on patreon. My 2 ** anyway.
