To be honest I didn't read all character introduction texts. Was too many details for me.

There should be a better guide to name the family, because it looks like patchwork that is hard to figure out.

It is the job of the author to captivate the reader. In some stories I don't miss the details. So that isn't on me (alone).

They are twins, just not identical twins.

So now that I've played it, the complaint that one user had about not understanding the relationships is even more ridiculous. The literal only thing you have to do is remove the word "step" from every relation where you're given an option. XD

Anyway. I like it so far. @Xilus did a really good job making all the girls (daughters and adults) likable and sympathetic, and established some pre-existing attraction/relationships with the girls that beg for exploring. I also think what's been implied about the MC, Lilith, and Emilia is definitely intriguing and presages some very fun scenes. If what I expect to happen with them does in fact happen, I know there'll be a vocal minority who will blow up, so be sure to add an extra line for "Planned Tags" in the Genre spoiler.

Now, all that aside, I don't think this game will ever make it onto Patreon, or won't stay there long. Step-relations are no different from blood to Patreon. At this point, I'd honestly recommend just dropping the relationship choices entirely (or changing the defaults to non-step relations) and going with SubscribeStar as primary subscription platform. That has the additional advantage that the dev could include actual lolis, or, at a minimum, could be more explicit about the ages of the existing girls (since even F95 doesn't care about stated ages as long as the girls aren't completely undeveloped and pre-pubescent).

Obviously, this is subjective, but I don't agree at all.

She's older than Katie, Leyla, and the twins, sure, but she looks very close in age to Claire. She doesn't look remotely as old as any of the mothers. Arguably, she looks closer to Lilith's age, but even there, Lilith's clearly the older one. When she's side-by-side with her own mom, it's really obvious that she's much younger than Melissa, even discounting that Melissa is very tall.

That's not quite accurate. "Irish twins" are when a mother has two children born 12 months apart or less, and as Freyr said, it's based on the stereotype of (Catholic) Irish immigrants to the US being fertile and rejecting birth control due to their faith.

So if they're 1 year apart, they're just barely Irish twins, but they'd still be Irish twins if their birthdays were different from each other as long as they were closer together.

There's no official term for "same birthday, different years", but I've seen "birthday twins" used occasionally. I've got a birthday twin cousin who's some 15 years younger than me, for instance.

Understandable my intention with the title was a play on the phrases the MC not only will have to Survive with his family but also Survive being with his family and their antics.

I believe "outliving my entire family" or "living through the danger that is my family" are the only two ways in which your title can be interpreted. I don't think that "surviving alongside my family" is a possible reading of the title. For it to be read that way, I think would require a "with" or similar word.

It's not terribly important because the main meaning of the title still holds true but the wordplay (family's sole survivor) might be darker than you intended.

Hello everyone hope you all had a good week. I know it's been a while since the last proper dev update, but I'm now done with my contract work and have gotten right back to making renders.

I've learned even more about shadows and lighting by messing around with different settings and have left a free teaser (an actual render from the game) in my

because I'm not sure how to do a spoiler here. It doesn't actually spoil anything, but just in case you don't want to see anything until it releases it will be over there.

Scene 4 is a more emotional scene, so I've learned how to better manipulate the facial expressions hoping to better convey the feelings.

If you're wondering why there are N/A's on the update image for animations that just means I haven't gotten to those parts and don't know how many there will be. For chapter 1 those will happen in the last 2 scenes so expect that to change when I get to that point.

For my various "Notes" on Subscribe Star I want to thank you again for the support and to let you know that 6 Renders for the month of September are ready to drop. The theme is Fall, simply because it starts in September. They will drop on the first of the month with 2 renders per category.
