Stills baffles me how DarkCookie got away with milking all these coomers for the Patreon money for years now. Let's be generous and assume everyone of his patrons subcribed for the lowest tier, that's still 30k$ (!!!) in a MONTH while he does a single fucking small update in literally a year. Same, I figured it would be forever for the tech update to be finished back when it was announced. And here we are years later with fuck all.. all I wanted was the update with Annie and all that happened was that it was put behind the tech update and her model got changed. Greedy fuckers always don't know when to stop. I couldn't agree more with you.

Man I was hoping there was an update. I hadn't realized that it had been 2 years since the last update. I quite enjoyed this game and it was one of the games that originally got me going down the Ren'py game rabbit hole.

Little "tech updates" were done over the years with virtually no real content (a few scenes at best) but it seems that has been on a halt for quite a while too.

All the bumps I was excited thinking it was updated, I should see what their march news update is but probably just "slow march of progress"

The worst part about the delays is that new art is still being produced for when the code is done and so there is now a huge backlog of teased content sat waiting that may never see the light of day as supporters move on. They need to take some of that money and hire a competent team of programmers to get it to a state where content can be added as quickly as it is produced and wrap up a final build so they can move onto a new game without all the baggage.

Might be me but I feel with that much income being generated from those Patrons that it's more about not hiring people then it is hiring the wrong ones. Seems to me they don't want to move forward since well, look at how it has been. Two years barely any work been done and they're still making the same money as before.

Yeah same as with the game industry (or movies). Then again, wtf is wrong with people paying monthly to someone who isn't doing anything. I hate the guy for doing it but I don't blame him (if that makes any sense).

You could take that $12 a year and buy a finished porn game on Steam every year. You can always come back and give them money again if they ever make any real progress, why give them money to burn?

Probably because it's just 1 dollar. Couple hundred people think like this and voilá you got a dev doing nothing anymore since he's getting paid as much for doing something as he is doing nothing.

I truly do love this game but am among the many who were frustrated with the tech update and how long it has taken so far. My main concern now is that they may put the update out and begin work on new content only to find not many are left to play.

The time between updates is a bit of a mess, but i'm still going to try it if it ever comes out

I am waiting around too. I just wish that they were a little more clear on their monthly progress reports. A lot of it is in the context of game design which means nothing as a game consumer. Like maybe instead of telling me how many art assets were redone, every once in a while maybe let me know how many more are left to do? I swear these new progress reports are just a passive aggressive response to people being upset with the lack of transparency.

Very good game with a nice artwork, but god damn are the updates slow. Too bad that the dev is probably just sitting on his ass and enjoying the free money from the donors

I saw the thread out of nowhere, the last time I played the game was when DC announced the tech update. I thought "ok, I'll wait for that update to be done...".

Boy, it's been a long time lol
