The version before the tech update is really good, it's definitely worth a try. But the current version is a rework and there is a lot of missing content.

So... I see there is nothing new here. A minor update, with almost no content (as far as people say) that doesnt even cover the old content?

I get there was a change in "tech"... but arent the images and videos the same? shouldnt it be rather quick to change the "tech" pass the first big restructuring of the code/script. im i wrong about that?

Edit: Ok, I download the new version. It seems that coockie planed to expand the game, new location, new characters, and so on. Changes in the way the game plays, you can pick up item before hand, you can move to the map at any (or almost) location (that is a minor QoL change... but that was so time consuming and tiresome). The in game walkthrough seems to work better, thats a +. It seems like many images have been redone (some older characters seems less old and younger less young).

Maybe, MAYBE in a non distant future, all the content from the pre-tech will make its way to the new one. One can only hope....

Is not just a renpy version change, it seems. There is a lot of expansion and changes in the game system... afaik

Very good story, it's not a game that keeps you doing just one thing, but rather you can make your own choices. Apart from small bugs and errors, this game is one of the best sandbox games out there.

yeah, it's actually regressed and lost content, which sucks.

Even with the regressed content, it is still one of the best games out there. The pre-regression content is still available and it's an A+ every time. If the developer actually finishes this game with all of the reworks, its going to be incredible.
