Well, it's a sad situation, I supported his projects for a few months but I won't spend a single penny on his next games, I won't play boring vanilla crap. But I wish him luck.

People will still play it because that man has the skills to create quality and I mean high-level quality when it comes to loli games.
He already has 100 paid subscribers now under 1 month.

Like I said, he will come back maybe one day after he believes he is stable on Patreon.

There is no other platform left besides Subscribestar. Unifans might be the last option but if they find out, they have a tendency to delete a creator's account rather than shadow ban them like Substar.

There are plenty of people that like vanilla games, go on f95 and you will see a lot of them that are very well funded. In fact Ketzal hasn't even released a demo for his new game yet and he already has 100 paying subs on his patreon. 100 supporters might not seem a lot, but considering the fact that the patreon has been only open for like 2 weeks with almost 0 advertisement, I think it's pretty good.

Personally, I don't think he will ever want to create content like that again. After what he went through I would be very surprised if he decided to take that risk.

Before you guys ask, I have no idea of what he means by "acceptable". I love his work as a dev, but he some times speaks in riddles.
It could mean that he would rework the game and age up the younger characters so he wouldn't run into trouble with SS.
I don't know how people would feel if he went with that route, people usually aren't fans of reworks and changing character designs. But it worked for family faring, so maybe it would work here as well, I don't know.
But since so much of the content is with the loli characters it would basically be a full remake.
I guess we will have to wait for more details.

Yea.. I guess he could go with that route... but like 70% of the game would need to be in the patch lol. He would also need a place for his supporters to get the patch. Without a discord server I don't know how he would share it with them. For the public he can just share it here if he wants. but for supporters he needs a place where they can easily access it, and this game here is behind the members+ rank. There are probably supporters that don't have the rank here because they were used to get everything on his discord.

I think it's more likely that he will just age up the characters, but we will have to wait and see what happens. He needs to get his SS page back to normal first, and SS takes a loooong time to respond.

People explaining to me that if I make games for money, it's wrong. Yeah, sure, tomorrow or the day after, when you go to the office, if you like your job, tell your boss you don't want to be paid and we'll talk in a month, okay?

Making a game is a real pleasure, yes, but it's also a livelihood. If someone else wants to take over and try to navigate censorship, bans, threats, abusive emails, and ppl pirating your fucking work and don't give a damn about your situation but only about their games, because yes, they are theirs. Then let these brave devs, much braver than me, enjoy themselves.

The vocal minority will whine and complain anywhere you go online. There’s also been plenty of mourning, constructive feedback for how to continue what you have done in the past, hope for the future projects even if they are outside the scope of why most people are here.

I don’t think anyone will discredit your points about income, piracy, and the challenges you’ve faced - there may be some people that didn’t consider them before taking to the Internet forum to complain though.

I will say I have been (and I’m sure many people have too) waiting for you to promote your new game, encouraging people to support you and other devs, supporting where we can. It is a bit of a bummer that you’d focus on the idiots who don’t think twice over anything else.

Fair enough though, I know in the other thread you came to see the crazy shit people were saying so maybe that’s why you’re focus lies there for now.

Looking forward to the future of SSP, if there is one!

I am still sad that he can't work on the original game but at the same time I am actually very excited to see how the new version of the game and redesigns for characters like leana and hailey will look like. Ketzal has never made an ugly character so I am sure they will still be very beautiful.

I think most people are sensible enough to know that you can't invest vast amounts of time and resources into making high quality content for free without becoming homeless in the process. I just wish you had found a way to accept crypto instead of going the adult only route, but from looking at some of your other posts it sounds like you've already made up your mind on the subject so I'll shut up about it.
