Usually less than a week after the bottom tier (Shy) gets it. I wasn't paying that much attention but I think 11.5 took under 3 weeks from alpha to public (alpha overrated usually vs just waiting another week or so for the Art Lover tier, $50 to get to play test an often buggy version).

Holy shit, the stupid things people say. Why on earth would it be impossible or idiotic to self-insert in a porn game or story? That's literally what they are made for. Just the most prominent Literotica site has thousands of stories in several languages, mostly written by amateurs for free and I can assure you that most readers are self-inserting while reading them and they would find them boring if they weren't. In that sense, AVNs are more like literature, not like gonzo porn. The added visuals (compared to pure literature) draw in much more men, whereas porn literature is mostly women, but the principle is the same: most people (ok, I have no actual statistics, but I'm very sure on this) identify with the protagonist and that is what makes the whole thing interesting. Just looking at the pictures, without having context or making stuff up on my own, would not even get me horny and I have no clue why you would do that. If I'm interested in just visuals I have gigatonnes of real porn videos at my disposal and if I'm interested in smols, Stable Diffusion gives me visuals that are a lot better than DAZ. Although I guess that is up for taste and it takes time to create them. The only time I still watch porn vids is with my girlfriend and even that might stop. Last week we read a porn story together for the first time and that was much more fun, especially in the aftermath, than the porn vids ever were. And if you can't tell why a man might not want to see other dudes if he's self-inserting, I don't want to help you understand.

Fapnation tried to release a non-public 10.5 and Ketzal told them to remove it and they did while rolling it back to the previous public version, wasn't even up 12 hours. Since it's going to be public soon enough anyway there's really no legit reason for leakers to be assholes and risk the AVN being put in the abandoned pile with all the other loli AVNs, or forcing Ketzal to convert from Daz to Photorealistic AI so no clearnet site will touch it (not even A T F allows that anymore, sadly) while completely discontinuing the public versions.
