I have made a strange observation about myself.

In posts like this one:



it seems I am a bit dissatisfied with this game.

However the truth is that I think it's fantastic. It's one of the best AVN's ever.

I have recently noticed some more negative posts, which is strange because in threads like this one:
What is the one game that brought you to lewdcorner, that you could only find here?
SSP is one of the most mentioned games.

Generally I think SSP is one of the best games overall, and certainly within the genre it is definitely in the top 3, perhaps even THE best ever for a lot of people.

But then, what's the reason behind the criticism? Is it just to try and make the game even better? Or is it a realization that perfection is an illusion? Are we expecting too much?

SSP is built to make you hate it. No one can appreciate MC's narcissistic personality or the fact that is turned 100% on getting anything through sex.
You can play my game two different ways. Just a silly story with silly characters for pure player satisfaction and wanking, or.... understand why this title and why the characters are what they are.

SSP isn't perfect, no. Far from it. I read the reviews and every time I think I've done a good job, since people hate what I want them to hate.

While there's plenty of far-fetched moments to pick out if one bothers to look for them like it's a sci-fi movie I can picture Cassie/Nicole doing that if they find a doctor with IVF equipment access that also doesn't care about ethics boards and still with bills to pay or that has gotten bitten by a greed bug, for the right price. Plenty of such doctors in the real world. Like Michael Jackson's that gave him Propofol as a sleep aid (not a doctor but still blows my mind when that's usually used by anesthesiologists for general surgery, it doesn't just put you to sleep, it makes you completely unconscious) and not only that but after giving him enough prescription-strength sleeping pills beforehand on the same day to make a horse sleep. Or more recently that one in Florida that was busted for straight up selling prescriptions for narcotics like Oxycontin. Only mystery to me is how she got the money for that, pretty sure an IVF doc that lost his licence or something wouldn't do it for less than $50-100k, since there's a whole bunch of risk with that besides just having a bro/sis make a baby in a surrogate (like breaking into a clinic in the likelihood the doc doesn't have his own tools conveniently in his basement). And turns out Alice is probably Nicole's rather with Leanna/Haley Cassie's, since her kids are all green-eyes and Cassey's are blue. I guess we'll see in v12 how Leanna ended up with Nicole.

You are missing my (and more importantly Ketzal's) point: there are things in this game that are INTENDED to be disliked.

I had a gut feeling about it, Ketzal confirmed it.

At first sight, this game doesn't seem to be very dark. Sure, there is a bit of family drama after the wife catches you in bed with your daughter. And sure, you came from a disfunctional family with an abusive mother which led you to find "love" in the arms of your sister. In the first instance, the MC is just a guy who is maybe not very intelligent or doesn't have good impulse control. In the second instance, the MC is perhaps not to blame because he's also just a victim.

But the deeper we go, the darker the story becomes. And the more it becomes clear that, in fact, the MC is not a good guy, even if you take the milder choices when presented with a choice.

It kind of scares me but in a different (and more profound) way than (for example) Blackheart games scare me.

Well, Nicole's egg could also have been artificially inseminated outside her and Cassie's body and then inserted into Cassie. That is, as far as I know, how artificial insemination usually is done. I mean, it is not that the MC is overly stingy with his semen.
That would mean, that she wouldn't have to fuck with the MC afterwards to ensure that pregnancy, because she would have been already pregnant then.

Don't listen they all have bad taste Or maybe they're right, I stopped following the story long ago (just not enough time, too many games) but the art is #1 in the business (including non-loli games). Which is pretty important for a VISUAL novel.
Btw, let's say you didn't have any business considerations and you could create in total freedom : would there be stuff like gangbang, MMF threesomes or MC fucks one of the girls with grandpa, or a friend ? Or is it an absolute no-no because you'd feel attacked in your masculinity because pixels aren't fucking other pixels the way you like (as it's the case for many guys these days, sadly) ? Or besides this, is it just not your kind or stuff and you don't watch gangbangs on Pornhub, only one on one scenes ?

I think both is possible at the same time. Right now I am maximising corruption just to see as many scenes as possible (I guess...), but I also appreciate immensely, how the drama (or maybe even tragedy) of transporting the own incest history to the next generation is portrayed. So far this incestious background ended tragically for at least one character (depending on the choices, of course), who possibly has never learned to share properly. Maybe the MC's task is to not repeat that and let the next generation grow up a bit different in order to prevent another tragedy (could also apply for Nicole's and/or Cassie's future...).
Interestingly the atmosphere of the game has changed, which can be noticed by the change of music. Quite a time the main theme was a bit sad. It felt to me like it was rather directed to the past, like an unfulfilled and impossible love, that will never really unfold fully, also representing how the family is close to be torn into pieces. But now the new main theme feels like it is more optimistic, directed to the future, a bit representing how Cassie is making plans for the whole family to live under one roof and the MC is doing his best to prevent jealousy and others controlling the family the way his mother did. That is a very interesting aspect, I think - even though I have to admit that I liked the old theme a little bit better. But also the new one is very nice.
I am looking forward to see if my understanding of the story stays this way or is changed by future updates.
When it is finnished I will definitely play it again and then make the choices that just feel right to me.

Well, way back when he did post a non-canon 4k of Alice getting spit-roasted by daddy and another guy (Luna P's dad irrc, I'd have go digging in that Ketzal 4k folder to be sure). The response was as you'd expect, people were going postal in the comments and some were in a panic while thinking that was where SSP was headed (was still early, like v.2-.3). I imagine if people weren't so NTR-sensitive and paid him no matter what he made we'd probably see a bit of everything you can imagine, probably other than hairy pussies everywhere, he did mention those grossed him out. And probably no scat or bestiality either (if hairy pussy bad then hairy dog worse? That's my logic anyway).

Okay i did'nt know he planned to develop his game for almost 4 years of story. I thought the demos were the next projects and destined to be released shortly (guess we can be tired of working on the same thing and try smthing else) My bad.

He's probably just tossing out ideas to check if he should pursue them later when the time comes (and putting them in another AVN rather than as a stand-alone demo pack was genius). A few other subs wrongly assumed the same thing, that SSP was either going to end soon or was going compete with a 2nd one for Ketzal's time.

It's exactly what I think, this game has great image quality, a convoluted but very “hot” plot, I'm not an author but I recognize that it must be very difficult to make a product of such good quality; and if you don't like it, you leave and don't bother the author or his fans.

Definitely different ways to play and I think I'm getting a hint at what the dev was saying about things there to hate. I ignored Macy and made sure she was dead and walked out on the grandmother rather than whatever I was there to ask for. Doubling down on the MC being a hypocrite but at least spreading the blame where its due.

I think there are several situations that are about to happen, or that should/should have happened:
'Adventures' between Macy and Alice
'Adventures' between MC and Kyra (why wouldn't there be any? (Since Ana and Sophie had them)
'Adventures' between and Nicole (young/smoll)
'Adventures' between Lisa and Luna (young/smoll)
Anyway... there are so many things, the long and dark winter of waiting for updates is hard LOL

As much incest as there is as far as how many generations and cross-generations there are so far the sequel probably wouldn't get a pregnancy tag, because everyone would be sterile and die before 40, which is basically how the Hapsburgs ended, even though that took ~500 years due to it being mostly cousins rather than moms, aunts and sisters, much like the Colt family that was well on it's way out after 4-5 generations by the time the local authorities discovered them.

Variables for Kyra have already been set up (mostly just open/close path for now during a flashback).
Nicole already had her first time with MC when she was a teen (~14 or thereabouts), they were never together when she was a loli, only Aunt Sophie got to make her cum in her mouth when she was 8 or so irrc.
And yeah whole bunch of side characters left for later. Macy's nurse (open/close path for her too) and her daughter that now hangs out with Alice, Celeste, Lisa, Rebecca, Luna, etc. I know the MC doesn't seem to have an older sister but I really wish that principal at Alice's school was and they hooked up, she was hot, but too bad she seems to be a lesbian (with her dream job at an all-girls school).
