I haven't think that way. I thought Cassy's mother does not know about MC being her husband's child but the asshole does know about it. So mother saw MC as young guy who try to date her daughter and being shy about it. So she taught it's cute and kinda gently pushed Cassy towards it. On the other hand asshole knew about it, so he tried to stop it but he did not have any reason to, so he tried to intimidate him. I also thought he followed them and beat the MC when he saw MC and Cassy naked together. I can't wait to see how main story gonna unfold.

Yeah, only Ketzal holds the key. So time will tell.
But in the meantime, it's always fun to speculate ^^

Just because 1st cousins can get married doesn't mean that incest is legal. It depends on what is considered (illegal) incest in this country.
Germany for example forbids vaginal intercourse between lineal ancestors and descendants (parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren) and between full and half-siblings.
1st grade cousins can get married as well as aunt/uncle and nephew/niece.

But yeah, there are many countries with different grades of what is considered illegal, different ages of consent etc.
I just picked France as an example since SSP plays partly in France (and probably the US or maybe Canada?).

If you study the matter, the possibility of genetic defects can be increased due to incest but it is not guaranteed. Throughout the human history there are numerous examples of perfectly healthy children of incestual relationships (such as Cleopatra etc), including the humankind in general which was passed through a number of narrow bottlenecks.

I guess that's true enough, but the chance of inheriting two copies of a defective gene (instead of one defective and one not or both not) increases when both parents are likely to have inherited that gene from a shared relative. This isn't the forum for a genetic study, but let's just say the chance of that happening increases exponentially through multiple generations of incestuous offspring subsequently mating with their parents, siblings, aunts, or children like they do in SSP. It's just a game, of course, but still.

If Dwayne is the father of the MC than he is not the result of an incestuous relationship.

And although not impossible, the odds to only father girls by the number of children the MC has is also very low.

As I said earlier, throughout the history some royal families took the incest as one of the main family models. Ancient Egyptian pharaohs, the Ptolemy dynasty that succeeded them, Ancient Persian kings, the Inсas, they all married within the family during many generations.
Of the more recent examples, if you study the case of Pitcairn Island population you'll find that basically the whole population of the island comes from one European man and a few Tahitian women. Their descendants have intermarried for generations and produced healthy offsprings.
So, as I said, the chance of the genetic disorders is higher, but if the initial genes are healthy, if is all good.
In the games like SSP, Apocalypse etc., the MC can be perceived as a chosen one, the one with especially healthy genes coming from a special lineage. That's probably why he is so irresistible for the women

I think most of the time ppl are concerned about the power dynamic and if the younger one is being coerced in some form. Also, a lot of ppl always seam to assume the worst of others.
But if you are not the kind of person that would do that, people that are close to you know that, and can also see if the love is mutual.

I have a very close friend who is in the same situation as you age wise. Although she was 18. But her parents did not like it at first. But they basically just talked to them about it and about their concerns. As soon, they saw how genuinely nice he is, and that they are happy and in love. They just dropped it and welcomed him to the family.
They have been together 10 years now, and are planing to get married next year.

Unless Ketzal changed the scene, the certain character you mentioned is always your daughter independent of the choice. If you reject Sophie she will be the missing daughter of Macy and the MC.
