Ok. That's it, I'm done holding back.
Version 0.7.3 and 0.8 are 36 days apart. You'd have to be crazy or stupid to think someone could make more than 600 images and animations and scripts in 30 days. So it's normal that V0.8 doesn't have anything new. Just read the DEV NOTES or the CHANGELOG. It's all explained there. Damn it, guys, read.... It takes less time to read the changelog than to complain.

Screw them bro, i like your game. Some people just cant read and start talking shit about it, happen all the time.

but if you think about it seriously, technical updates should be numbered something like 7.3.3->7.3.4
because an update in
7->8 is always a major major update, a major addition to the plot.
7.3->7.4 - minor update, scene added or changed... bug fixes
This update should be correctly numbered as 7.3.4 but not 8.
although of course the choice is not mine.
I just expressed my opinion. or perhaps someone has already expressed exactly the same thing before me and this is my repetition of someone else’s dumb shit but in an spreaded, refined form... =)

I debated with myself for a long time (yes, I often debate with myself), and came to the conclusion that this is a major update. Even if players can't see it (no new content), this update changes everything. I had to redo a lot of code, cut, redo some variables and replay from the beginning to make everything simpler. So in my eyes (the only ones that count in my opinion), this is a major update.

Ketzal, Just want to say thank you for taking the time to work on v.8. It wasn't 100% necessary for you to do so, but you still listened to consumer feedback and made the changes (which did indeed help make the pathing choices much clearer). I appreciate all that you do for the community, and hope the complaints on here don't get to your head too much. You make a great game!

This isn't true. No scenes were removed. Try restarting the game if your save isn't working, but I was able to get all scenes through various paths.

Spoiler: pathing choices

I have saves for: harem (macy dead), harem (macy alive), macy, cops, alice.

Spoiler: further path spoilers

Canon route is harem (macy dead), but I play through the different paths to get all scenes (only Alice path has exclusive scenes for now). Harem (MD) has an extra scene that Harem (MA) doesn't have.

I'm assuming not. A new game hasn't been recommended. But the changelog is light on details.

You don't need to start a new game. The distribution of points is the same, but the conditions have been lowered. So if you want to see all the scenes (because many were too easy to miss), it's best to start a new game.
