and how to activate it if only version x.2.x is available (for Alice), if i forgot to download version x.1.x? or are these is a different versions that have something in common - only x.0.x (that is, the harem path)?

for the future, Maybe it’s possible to post some kind of reminder on the main page of the project (so that users don’t have to search through the entire game thread)?

So

V 0.X = Harem versions
V 0.X.1 = Macy's versions
V 0.X.2 = Alice's versions (also contains Macy's)

I ran into similar troubles on Mac. Tried different files from different file hosts, tried different software to unpack, used the right password.

No, it's not impossible. Check https://lewdcorner.com/threads/such-a-sharp-pain-v0-9-2-22r-ketzal.35/post-331790 if you're using windows and everything should work without problems. Make sure you don't accidentally copy a blank at the beginning or end of the password.

On linux I have no problems with Ark. But it's possible that you need to install unrar or an other lib that supports the newest rar version for it to work properly.

I have no Mac so I can't test it on MacOS.
