and the analogy with neutered cats came to mind. if a cat is castrated before puberty, he will grow very fat, but if he is castrated later, when he starts walking around cats, he will not gain weight.
the thing is that the MC fell into the network of incest from early childhood, when there is no own life experience. in the rest of the incest-VN, the characters have already begun to think with their own minds, having at least some of their own experience behind them, and they were simply "clicked" with their relatives.
or, as it was in "man of the house", where the MC is also a young guy without much life experience, initiated sex with his relatives, by the way,
also a "A Family Venture" - a young guy was also the initiator there
"big brother"\"Big Brother - Another Story" - again the initiator of the young MC.
this may be the difference, why other VN with incest did not break the characters in the same way as this VN broke the MC, where his mother was the initiator ...

If the main character has grown up - story wise - in a climate of incest and being introduced to intimacy from a very young age, then the flow of the visual novel will be very different than if we discover together with the character the world of incest. In SSP however, there are three other elements that play as well:
- It's a serious story. Man of the House definitely is not that. (I haven't played A Family Venture, so I can't judge). This means that actions have consequences and the author has to keep those in mind.
- This is about the children of the main character - which is a very different situation than if you're a ballsy irresponsible sibling/son. There is a huge difference between being intimate with your younger/older sibling and being intimate with your very own child (something I wish perhaps that the MC in SSP was a bit more introspective about - a 3 minute scene where the MC recognises what he's doing)
- This is also about very young children. Ketzal made the very daring choice to go past the suspension of disbelief and present models that show no signs of puberty. When I look at the screens of "A Family Venture", everyone has hips and a developed bosom. The author can claim these are very young adults. with Tifanny and Leanna, that's just impossible. (and I'm very curious if Ketzal will go even further. with the latest update, there was a lot of focus on young ones)

Honestly, I don't understand why there's so much controversy, criticism, complaints... There are hundreds of contents with young characters, incestuous situations and everything that is criticized/commented/complained here, without being hypocritical, isn't that exactly what attracts you? There are hundreds of similar stories, characters, authors that follow the same path. If this is so absurd (it's only FICTION) there are sites with only adult content, right here there are other games, VNs only with adults. Ketzal, go ahead, I'm loving your young characters and I hope and wish they keep popping up over and over again. We'll still have young Nicole, Eve, Hailey, Lisa, Luna and whoever else comes along. Follow the game and post this update soon lol.

I agree with the sentiment but unfortunately a lot of porn gamers are precisely that type of person. Very much into influencer and "motivational" content, not to mention anime. Those interests heavily overlap and parasocial relationships, hardcore escapism etc are very much at their center. So devs have to cater to those tastes to some extent, but obviously edge cases tend to be the loudest voices.

Anyway imo the game is fine the way it is, except maybe dial down the flashbacks a bit.

I realize that post is outdated, but In my playthrough Leana's not quite 10 yet, and the MC already gave her her first orgasm by eating her pussy, still my favorite scene so far in any AVN. And Tiffany is 8 (and they both look that age). More lolis incoming and has the potential eventually to have more lolis than One Summer In Loliwood (ie Leana and Tiffany's whole school, maybe). I also noticed that this is not on F95 anymore either. Apparently separate decensor patches don't count when they are bigger than the rest of the censored game or something.

Well, as a guy that married his sister I think my daughters are hot too (oldest is 16 and looks a lot like her mom when she was that age, same for the younger ones), so it's not like the MC is all that unrealistic. But in the real world my sis is definitely not Nicole (or Casey). Considering how jealous she can sometimes get of one of our common female friends by me just talking to them alone for too long (still her only flaw imo) if she found out I actually cheated on her and fucked one of our daughters she'd prob do a Lorena Bobbitt, only toss it in the microwave for 10 minutes after to make sure it was never able to be reattached. And I'm glad Ketzal made the lolis look realistic. If they are meant to be 10-15 in the story then make them look it. Only an idiot assumes that disclaimer "all cartoons in this AVN are 18" silliness plastered over most AVNs is actually true, that's just ass armor since not every country has a First Amendment. They're imaginary cartoons, so don't have ages other than what they are imagined to be or are supposed to be in the story ( I guess if they were all created in Daz 1 year ago then that makes them all 1yo?). If I recall Shiny Devon (what a legend) didn't even bother with that disclaimer in One Summer In Loliwood and the lolis actually stated their ages in the game before proceeding to get fucked by the MC (most 7-15) , no filling in age blanks by the reader necessary.

I imagine every render he does that's not discarded for quality reasons will get used at some point. Even the discontinued comic Luna P and her dad found their way in. His SS does have a set of weekly 4K's ( when SSP isn't in it's final push the week before release) for the Art Lovers tier ($15) and up so probably anything unused in SSP probably goes there (same models, different canon so isn't spoilers).

Absolutely true. But that doesn't entitle him to anyone's support, or protect him from criticism. It also doesn't mean I can't be disappointed at what I see as a ton of wasted potential, given the phenomenally good writing and rendering quality present in the game from the very first release.

If he ever writes a game that doesn't kill off an LI and that does have happy endings for girls the MC can love and/or rescue/save, I'll be happy to support again. This game just isn't that.

You know, I stopped watching Game of Thrones after John Snow was run through with a sword and killed. There was no one left to root for. Several years later, I find out that the next episode he is brought back to life by that red witch. Of course, I was over it by then.

Just saying, the last scene shows her lying in an ambulance. And the fact that at least twice that I can recall the MC stated that maybe he will tell so and so what happened to her. It could be she is dead but it also could be that she survived and just left the picture yet everyone thinks she is dead except the MC knows the truth. I'd suggest holding off any rash decisions but just a suggestion. I could be wrong.

Side personal note: Macy was a happy addition but I never expected her originally so if she ends up not being an option because she is dead or otherwise out of the picture, I'm OK with that.
