Unless MC/Visa did it themselves dunno why SS would give a fuck what the UK thinks or wants, last I checked SS is in the US. I mean when A T F was banned in France awhile back they simply posted instructions on how to circumvent the ban (VPN, TOR, etc), not blocked all of France's IP addresses like most pussies er, porn sites would like a lot of sites are now doing (not that it matters much with VPNs anyway; get asked for ID = simply move IP to one where they don't have those ridiculous laws that should be ignored by everybody anyway).

Somebody with a huge amount of pull is screwing with the ability to process money derived from adult activities. Part of it stems from a lawsuit against Visa being allowed to continue for processing payments from Porn Hub when those funds were made by selling pornographic images and videos of children. We know that a group of activists in Australia managed to do some damage, but activism rarely has the amount of pull needed to move a system this way. Activists can topple something if it was already leaning, but rarely have they ever been successful (in any political direction) changing things through activism alone. Based on what other devs on SS have said, SS started going after foreign devs. For example, Marche from Director games, had halted development of his games because SS froze his accounts until he could straighten out some tax issues. I think SS received nastygrams from foreign governments, and was basically told to follow foreign rules on foreign devs or get cut off from the banking system. Visa and MC are supposed to be running without any bias, if it is legal it gets processed. However, they are not doing that, and somebody with a hell of a lot of pull must be behind that shift, but we don't know who. It can't be a small activist group from Australia, there is simply no way a few assholes from down under would have the ability to enforce a moral code on what used to be untethered capitalism.

That's why they should have built their business around crypto when they first started as a Patreon competitor, can't get cut off from a central bank if you don't use one to begin with. This is alo why QRcash is gaining popularity, same anti-censorship/fuck-the-gov't tool as crypto, but fees and speeds closer to a credit cards without their or anyone else's bullshit.

The game has been re-released on fuck95 😜😜😜
Not the same game at all other than the plot. And even if one doesn't care about Patreon slop even that will take 3-4 years to catch up to the old good one. Might as well call it a rework from a plot standpoint, and those are never popular when put to a vote/poll. Imagine Blackheart converting to Patreon slop, like most loli AVNs I'd rather see them abandoned and remembered as their intended vision than turned into that shit if there is no other option (I like BH's 3rd option: get a day job and make his own damned site and just slow down the release schedule while putting 2/4 AVNs on hold, even if it's only a single 1-hour update a year).

From what the dev said, the plan for the rework is to release a new update every 4 to 6 weeks. It will also depend on the size of the updates, but if he is able to keep that pace, it should reach the same point as the original, pretty fast.
The demo for the rework was kind of short but I liked it.

Never played the rework and prob never will. I'd rather remember as it was intended to be (even if I just assume the MC died at the end), not as the crap that Patreon wants it to be. It'd be like going to see my sister or one of my kids after they nearly burned to death in a car wreck (thankfully never actually happened). It may sound cold but not sure I'd ever want to see them like that, even after a dozen reconstructive surgeries that half-fixed the Freddy-Kreugar look.

The activist group has ties to the Australian government that they try to hide, though, so that gives them more pull than most groups.

The Liberal party in Oz has been recruiting right wing evangelical's and other religious ratbags, the last Liberal prime minister is a member of Hillsong church, these activists have connections to other groups in Australia and around the world. Its more than just a few activists and the activists we see are just the tip of the iceberg. An Aussie dev was busted due to police following the money. It was not a good look for the banks and credit card companies involved. The activists are able to use such cases to scare the banks etc into stop accepting money from game developers no matter if the game is legal or not

I understand you, it gives me a feeling of “distaste.” For me, that feeling isn’t even because of the lolis themselves, but because it feels forced. Like when, I don’t know, your mom used to make you clean up a mess that someone else made, you do it with that total lack of motivation. And it’s basically the same thing, but with an older Leana.

For someone who’s never played SSP, it might be acceptable, but for those who already have, it’s really hard to actually play this new version. Even though his other game has more interesting premises, and that’s the one I’m somewhat interested in, the version that’s out is still short, so it hasn’t fully hooked me yet.

Several AVNs have tried the age-up and re-release "fix", and I can't think of a single one that was successful. The additional problem with the re-work of SSP is that some of the other characters' appearances have changed, not for the better. The art and character design in SSP was really gorgeous. The "re-work" version...not so much.

Why a rework with aged characters (?) when way out better is a continuation of the story, a part 2, with the same characters, even aged up if there is no other way around nowdays. The premises for a part 2 are set: MC is shot he can wake up some years later (typical for a AVN), girls now would have a "legal" age and in this moment he can trash them in all possible ways and in all the combinations. MC, after awakening, can borrow a Blackheart personality perverting the girls, checking as many tags possible, (examples anal, ass to mouth, deepthroat) include pregnancy or even the infamous NTR as a option of course.
Few more centimeters or different hairstyles wont change much the feeling of the previous part 1, .... the girls would be more naughty (slut/whore level) or worse (slave)... you would know is "them" ... the art design will be there to remind the class and value of the SSP !
You people would support a idea like this ? TY

This game seems to be abandonned
You're way late to the party my friend. It's been abandoned for months

A rework because it's Aldor's decision

I noticed that too. Alice looks the same, or almost the same, but Nicole is slightly uglier. Cassey… from the only part that was shown, she looks much worse. The MC looks stranger as well. I’ve been wondering how games like Apartment 69 manage to sustain themselves. They have a loli patch system there, and there are other games that follow this separate- loli patch dynamic. Do these games actually get enough support?

Agree on the first part of your post, where MC wakes up from a Coma after many years.
Now everyone will sort of know what's gonna happen in the story, in the broads strokes of it.

The next part of your post is just an unbelievable, perverted fantasy, and I wonder if you have any feel for what the developer is all about,
and if you always fast-forward to the L-scenes without reading the story.

Yeah, exactly. One of the first things you learn is that for NSFW scenes to have more impact and actually hit, you need to build a connection with the characters and the story’s dynamics. That’s why sometimes a guy draws great renders, but the story makes no narrative sense and the characters have no real personality, at that point I already lose a big part of my interest.

Another common mistake is giving everything away too fast. Like, imagine if the very first scene with Leana already had sex and that’s it, screw it. It would completely kill any sense of buildup and achievement for the player. That’s why stories like SSP are special , because most creators don’t seem to understand how to build a story properly, with real buildup, characters with unique personalities, and interesting dynamics.
