Sound on/off

Sound I leave on unless there are particularly loud/grating sound effects. Music I often turn off though. I don't want to be reminded of a degenerate lapse in my judgement when I hear a song over the radio in a public place.

Also can't stand voice acting, but music and sound effects are always on unless they are horrible

Sound off or really low

Always on but since tons of non JAP games have no sound at all I often play music in the back round.

Opposite for me. Some voice acting is good, but the music is nearly always annoying.

sound on, Games with decent sound are rare, but those with decent sound stand out a lot

Sound is one of my favorite things, so I always leave it on. If the sound sucks it might even stop me from playing it in general.

I have the sound on but always set it at around 5%, but if it gets too annoying I turn it off.

I always mute it. It distracts me, especially if I'm going through a VN with a lot of text.

Off. If I want background music I'll provide it myself

Sound on unless its music that's been repeating for like an hour

I'll try a game at 20-33% volume for 15 minutes. If I'm into it, I keep it stable. If not, 0%.

I usually keep sound off, the only times I really keep the sound on is when the story is really good or emotional

I usually play with sound on and low volume.

Both sound and Music stay on, though lowered since most of the time they're too high by default. Voice acting always off though.

Sound off except the rare circumstances where the game has voice acting lol. And occasionally pretty good music that is actually implemented well, but usually the music is the reason I have the game muted. Some devs love to add the most jarring music to their games.

I usually launch up a game and immediately turn off the music and lower voices and sounds to a little below 50 percent or even 30 percent. My reasons are because usually the music is obnoxious, or I prefer to watch a video on the side, or I keep the game running and do other stuff sometimes and I don’t want to keep turning it all off and on.
