Always on, but on the low range. The default is always too loud.

AAAAnnnnd thats another thing i HATE about RPGM game. The default is ALWAYS at max, and the sounds are just loud (and low quality most of the time)

Highly dependent on game. Some have had addon music packs in the past. May listen to in game music once or twice, if it starts getting repetitive turn music to 0 and stick on a chill playlist. Sound level is dependant whether it complements the game or not.

Most of the time is simply annoying, so it's normally sound off for me.

Too much of the music is repetitive and not my type. I just use my own music. The sound effects are usually jarring and unneeded so those are off too. Voices sound too odd, so complete mute.

It depends, a large amount of the VNs I've played use looping tracks that are annoying. I've also heard a few VNs use stock moans. I tend to give until the second or third animated scene if there are any. One that I really enjoyed for it audio was Projekt: Passion.

Straight down to zero please. Only because some are terrible. Although recently some devs are refining this craft.
