Yes I know I posted here already. But I thought this was funny.

It's too hot in summer. Team winter

How the fuck can you measure ice?
Like any other solid.
For Americans, seeing a temperature in Celsius is meaningless.
And to the almost rest of the world Fahrenheit is meaningless.
We know since childhood what a temperature feels like in F units.
Sure, you can work with anything if you get used to it, even Kelvin, so it is a bit of a moot discussion... but C still makes more sense! ;)
It might as well be given in cubits, burthakas or grelnitches.
Or measure in bananas, if it works it works, you're right, but it won't make as much sense as C ;)

Same with everything else - not based on 10, but we KNOW how heavy a pound is, how far a mile/foot is, how much a gallon is, etc... We can't picture what something is in metric without converting to "normal" or "correct" units. It might as well be given in cubits, burthakas or grelnitches.
cubits, burthakas and grelnitches is what the rest of the world feels when approaching pounds, miles and gallons. none of it means anything tangible.

anyways, enjoy winter while it still exists. we might not have that many left

Oh yeah, we were talking about seasons 😅
Real winter won't go away, it will only change to be a sporadic extreme we will be less prepared for. 😕

Hardly any difference here in San Francisco. Redwood trees and Cypress tress are always green. They Eucalyptus and Live Oaks dont really change color.

Little colder and the waves are bigger.

Hoodies 365 'round here, regardless of summer or winter.

"i like summer"
ok, go live in a 90f without air conditioning
the thing about summer is that you can not escape from it, only create artificial ambiences that emulate more brand temperatures
every single person that I have heard praising summer work in a place with air conditioning and have air conditioning in their houses
summer lovers are just hypocrites

Spring not an option?
Winter for me, summer for other people... too cold is easier to evade than too hot

Unless someone is indigent, they have AC in their house here. I only used it this past summer to sleep. Heat used to bother me, but no longer (due to anemia.) I HATE canned and frozen vegetables, and that's all there is around here in winter for the most part. I hate snow, cold bothers me and my arthritis is particularly bad when it's cold out.

Summer to hot, Winter to cold, Spring to much allergies, and Fall to much rain....

Now what ?
You are team bunker or team space, what you need is a closed system without seasons.
Something i would also prefer, but it sadly wont align with my line of work...closed system with open door ...no, wont work -,-

P.S:
For the sake of the offtopic, celsius and metric systems are the only ones making sense on a daily base. Farenheit is something for physics, pounds for lunatics and foot, miles and other bullshit for people who cant count to 100 ^^

Not only did you agree with me that an artificial environment is necessary to endure summer, but you also used two of your personal problems as arguments.
I don't think that was able to change my mind.

I'm team winter in the summer because its too hot, and then when winter actually rolls around i'm team summer because its too cold. Rinse and repeat

Summer but it doesn't get too hot or humid were I live think like 80f and 70% humidity.

Of course Team winter

Team winter on my end, even though driving kinda sucks, I like it because the cold is easy to escape from unlike a humid heat. Also because you can drift any shit box (responsibly and in an area clear of people and other vehicles) easily.
