You'll have to adjust gfx settings, as no one else has that problem. Prob vsync to start, if nothing else playing it in a window usually fixes video tearing.
i do actually

Shift+G when starting, change renderers. That works 99% of the time. As a last resort see if there's a gfx driver update (that sometimes fixes one game and breaks another).
i tried all the render options *in fact I tried ALL options* and nothing made any significant or even noticeable change. How do I go about checking this driver update? *If I were judged on a scale of computer knowledge based on greatest composers: I would rank somewhere around Rulph from The Muppet Show*

I've built my own PC's for the last 25 or so years, but irrc find out what manufacturer of your gfx card is (without taking the side panel off the case and looking device manager in windows also shows this irrc, as well as driver version number). Once that is known (it will probably be either AMD or Nvidia unless your PC is ancient and belongs in a museum) go to their site and look for a gfx driver download link and check for a latest version (usually it's best to avoid beta versions of those though). There's also an app on their site that does most of this automatically. Once that is installed and PC restarted if that doesn't work I'm out of ideas, if you haven't tried changing monitor resolution and refresh rates yet (that can make text/images look blurry if it's non-native, but at least it will maybe fix the tearing issue).

Regarding the siring of 2 daughters within 2 months there is still the possibilty of the sister having her period again despite of already being pregnant, being then impregnated after one or two months again and ending with 2 babies in her belly - an extremely rare but not completely impossible phenomenon. ;)
Of course this does not explain why the two girls rather look like being 2 or 3 years apart instead of 1 or 2 months...

Thank YOU! You didn't have to go way out of your way and type all that information for a random stranger. But you did anyway, and that says something about a person's core. You could have just said "Google it Rulph! Are you dumb AND lazy too?!" *This is how I assume everyone talks now. And for some reason it is in the voice and mannerism a poorly executed 90's stereotypical effemanite homosexual male. Apparently I am cpu illiterate, a social cynic, AND have horrible taste in when to apply politically correct definition to my internalized creative procedures....and I am adding "incredibly verbose and doesn't know when to shut the hell up" to the list of personal discovery now.
So this in mind; in short -well technically in very very LONG and time consuming- don't ever stop being a decent human being if it means you make someone else's life just a little easier. You may have to read a bunch of crap that your brain never knew it didn't care not knowing about. But you are keeping what little humanity we have left globally afloat

Now I'm a sad panda. Not really abandoned so there's still hope but real life strikes again. Wish there were more US-based loli incest devs with no real life, no family, and living on welfare in their mom's basement/trailer park. At least he didn't pull a Nightaku.

I love this kind of game and it will always be a factor for me as a first choice whether to play the game , that the game should include at least one character with a youthful looking girl. It may sound deviant, but luckily I'm not the only one who gets pleasure and enjoyment from this kind of entertainment. The game Sides of Life therefore fulfills my first choice one hundred percent. From the very beginning, the game is very playable and clear for me. The characters are really adorable, and the story and narrative style of the game itself has me quite intrigued. I would like to thank the author for a great gaming experience of a wonderful game.

The animations are bad but otherwise the game looks good. And that neighbour girl Millie is so freaking hot! So... eatable. :D

Cool game, cool story, shame that it got abandoned...
Game is not abandoned. It's on hold. I just took a look at the SubscribeStar page and he explained it there. He's still working on it, it's just really slow because of his job. There's no timing on when he'll release next update. Just requires a lot more patience.

Rocky Game's word.
"There will be a new update some day and I hope I can make it as soon as possible, but I just can't say how long it takes. It's a bad timing right now with all the stuff going on in my day job."

this is a damned shame; b/c obviously being friends w/SeathBlack (Karl n Akeemu in the shipping container was HILARIOUS!!), this project closely resembles the same style, n Seath's work is some of the best out there...so was really looking forward to RockyGames becoming another *sad*

Public post

Hello everyone,

I know it was way too silent in here for the last time, and I want to try to explain what is going on in my life.

I was working from home from october last year until february this year and I had a lot of free time. In this time I started working with daz and had the idea to start my own AVN because I liked playing them and wanted to try it myself. I really liked it to make my game even if it was very stressful sometimes. I worked fulltime on it every day, that was the reason why I was able to bring out the last update that fast.

And I really loved to see people reacting to my game, so many people liked it, commented on LC and supported me on subscribestar. Thank you all a lot for this.

But my work situation changed and I am not at home for the whole week now, I only have the weekends for myself and work became really stressful and will be like that for at least the next couple months. I thought I could still continue like before, writing and coding over the week and making renders at the weekends, but on the most days I am just tired and exhausted after work and just want to lay down. And even on the weekends I sometimes have family things to do and don't have time to do anything else besides sleeping and eating.

I really want to continue working on the game and I already have a part of the next update written and a couple renders made, but I just don't have the energy to work as much as I want to, and I am not "into the story" of my game anymore because I am out of it for so long now.

I want you all to know what to expect and I hope you can understand my situation.
And I really understand if you don't want to support me on substar anymore, it's your right to end it anytime you want and I am not financially dependent on it.

There will be a new update some day and I hope I can make it as soon as possible, but I just can't say how long it takes. It's a bad timing right now with all the stuff going on in my day job.

Thanks for reading this and for the great time I had so far with this game and all the good feedback.

Sincerely, Rocky

I know this reply is well late, but serves the greater good.

If you have a card you're not sure about go to devices, check properties of the device in question. What you're looking for is Device ID and Vendor ID. You can use the interwebs to cross-reference the result to positively identify and get updated or proper drivers.

From Dev:

Hello everyone...

I guess most of you already heard about the shit going on in Australia right now about an Australian AVN dev that got arrested for his game.

I've read a lot of law texts from my own home country in the last days and it looks like our law is just as strict as the Australian law, so for my own safety I have to stop working on my game, at least until things cooled down enough.
I know, my game was on hold for months now because of reallife reasons and I am really sorry about that, and with this shit going on now I can't say if I will ever be able to finish it.

I already thought about starting a new, "safer" game when I have the time for it, but for now I think it will stay mostly silent around here.

Thank you all for the very interesting journey so far, and sorry for disappointing everyone who waited patiently for a new update...
When I ever start a new game I will plan things ahead and hopefully learn from my own mistakes.

See you around,
Rocky
