Gameplay:
This is a choice based visual-novel, that will have diverging paths for the main love interest, and multiple endings. It is played from the main protagonist's perspective (POV) for the most part.
Mechanics:
Some roaming mechanics could be added in the future, if the situation is right. Until then it will be a normal vn. I plan to add progress tracking, galleries and other things in the coming episode.

The other LIs so far (judging by who has points variables defined) are two girls from the orphanage where the MC grew up, a woman that works there, an old friend of the MC (presumably also from the orphanage), Charlie who we don't know much about yet except she's been looking into the disappearance of Emily (MC's lost love/mother of his daughter), and Carla who hasn't been introduced yet.

Well, for all we know so far, I agree with almost everything you said, but one thing. You mentioned the for now faceless character named Charlie and assumed it is a woman, but it could also be a man. Charlie being the nickname for Charles isn't uncommon at all. But we will have to wait and see, I guess.

I also thought that might be the case at first, but there are other guys in the game and they don't have points variables. Each of the (presumed) love interests have a name_p and a name_p_t (which seems to be for counting the possible total points) variable. MC's best friend Khalil, for instance, doesn't have those points variables. So I'm guessing Charlie is a woman.

Well, I did use the URM mod, too, but didn't look too deep into it at every choice, because they were quite obvious, so I didn't notice. So you may actually be right then.

Don't know why the sandbox tag is there. In the current game there is no free roam sandbox like mechanic.
