I noticed that depending on ones system specs, there's a lag.

It runs just fine on my 12-year-old Win10 machine, where are you bottlenecked? Sometimes it's jsut a matter of terminating excess running processes to free up system memory for animations

Played fine on my Windows7.
This person VN - Ren'Py - [HS] - Ripples [v0.9.22] [Jestur] might have a few to many things running in the background though.
