Oh boy that's a new system that I didn't see when I first joined. Really interesting though, just like the coins system. Really though, if your reading score is low it's because you're zoooomin past posts that you're on which is exactly what the mods are trying to avoid. They want to foster actual people using the site, not just beep boop lemme get plus. That by itself isn't too hard.
no because the problem is that if you open 30 tabs so that you can spend hours reading all those threads, it only counts time on the first tab. so you could read for 3 hours and still only get 3 points.

I was curious about this as I had a super low 15 reading score. I went through some of the threads and it didn't seem to go up. But reading through this and the linked one in the first reply more than doubled it.

Also only really posting any reply to see what my info box looks like as I've been so inactive here.

Reading score - this is some kind of “thing in itself.” In my case, lately, it’s frozen at 1532, and this value hasn’t changed all week. Although my actual activity hasn’t changed in recent days.

Huh this is all good advice on this thread. Didn't realize it was a misnomer and it's actually replying that raises the score. That's.... interesting to say the least.

Didnt know about the reading issues so I just have a bunch of tabs open always. Now using one mostly and it is going up.

I’ve long since given up on all those mysterious parameters; I have a browser specifically designed for this kind of website. I constantly have 4 tabs open from this site, about 30 from an unnamed one (I follow discussions about a whole range of games there), another 5 tabs from yet another similar site, but everything there is downloaded only via torrents, and about 6 tabs on various torrent trackers. It’s convenient for me; I can’t imagine a more dull activity than constantly logging in to every website. At home, I have nothing to fear and no one to be afraid of; my wife is aware of my interests. My daughter has her own room with a lock, and there’s also a lock in the bedroom where my wife and I sleep (there are desks with computers in there). Considering that I also use a number of social media platforms, constant log‑in and log‑out would drive me crazy. In general, my PC runs 24/7; I only reboot it once a week. The reason it’s always on is that I’m sharing and downloading torrents.
