From the tests I did myself it seems like replying and liking on treads is most effective. But is would be nice if they would simply share the exact metric that takes all the guessing work out of it.

It's a pain to read, react, and post and still miss out on points. Takes a bit, like everyone is saying; don't be idle on the page, takes 30 secs to 5 mins.

I think it may also be punishing tab hopping. If you open multiple threads in multiple tabs, and read a bit of tab A, switch to tab B, and return to tab A after a while, your activity timer seems to have reset. I did a bunch of this last night and I got maybe 2 AP in total. It also doesn't take into account the length of the thread, I feel? If I go into a new thread with just one post and I actually take my time to slowly read it, I'll still fall short of the minimum threshold that's been determined for a "full thread", and so I get no points.

The name is misleading as you have to write comments on the threads to raise your reading level.

Otherwise good luck just reading you'll be lucky to raise it one point per day.

this post doesn't say anywhere how to get the reading score...is it just by reading post? but I've doing that and its not giving me any. is there a cooldown?

Mine has gone up constantly since ive been i n and out of recent posts.

Doesn't it take ages to get enough LewdCoins (LC) to be able to unlock Members+? Based on my own progress and reading the relevant threads about earning coins through likes, threads, etc, I feel like just trying to earn the LC will automatically push up your reading and posting score past the required threshold before you get anywhere enough LC to be able to buy members +.

I'm not sure about having to reply to get points in reading. I had already reached the requirements for reading before I even checked Member+ requisites. Took me a couple days I think though. Also, I'm not a fast reader. So maybe that's it.

When I wasn't paying attention, I earned a higher reading score. When I started actually trying to read for score, I didn't get any.

Without strain (I wasn't trying to gain access to the + section, but do I need to spend coins on something?) it took me about 15 days. I repeat, effortlessly.

It's harder if you fast reader, but it works. Kind of fun - found some threads on this forum I wasn't aware exists.

From what I saw - reading activity points go up by 3 every time so you need to do "something" 25 times. Just reading works for sure, but it's slow... I read all comments on one game - around 50 pages and it went up by 3. But it's working, just hang around, react to posts, engage with community and you will get there.

Ah, that explains why my score remained so low no matter how many threads I kept just reading. Thanks.

I don't see any problem here. In late May and early June, I disappeared from the Internet for three weeks (moving to another city, connecting to a new provider, plus the usual household chores after moving). I visited this site for the first time after a break on June 11. And I discovered a bunch of incomprehensible innovations. Including this very Reading Score . I had it at around 45 (I have no idea how this number was derived). OK, I continued to do what I used to do - I only read the discussions that interested me, commented on some games, and notified the admins about game updates. By the wayl, the issue of updates is the most painful for this site. Right now, my Reading Score is 886. I didn't make any, absolutely no effort. In general, I spend more time on another website. I do not know what this parameter is, how it is calculated, and to be honest, I do not want to know. In my opinion, it's not worth bothering with this. Read, comment, and sometimes give like to interesting post. But without fanaticism, you should not sit on any website for several hours in a row. There are more interesting things in life.

It’s good to see the system has changed a bit, not sure I got my lewd coins, but hey ho, now just to try and figure out if this increases the reading score, maybe a little info box tool tip would help with confusions
