Why would he post all that bullshit on Twitter publicly, why didn't he create a completely separate account for that crap. And of course, why does he make these empty promises and not follow through at all? Simply baffling. I think this game is in the top 1% and he seems to be taking it for granted because he still has lots of support for some reason. *end rant*

this is truely a loss. great game and he had some characters, the sisters friend and his girlfriends daughter who had potential but sadly it appears it may be over. Im gong to hope it continues but the evidence certinally is stacked against it. Still hopping thoough

At this stage I don't think it's an actual decision he has made to abandon it. My bet is the guy is dealing with an undiagnosed condition like ADHD and as the complexity of the game's paths ramps up the task of pushing out another chapter gets larger and larger until it becomes such a massive -thing- that his brain just bounces off of it. Combine that with an ego that doesn't want to acknowledge he's having issues and you get an endless cycle of excuses and radio silence. The subscribers who always chime in that way he's doing is perfectly fine and to just take whatever time he needs are actively enabling him as well.

His current path with Radiant seems to match how he handled Polarity so it certainly looks like a pattern.

It has been so long I think I remember very little about the plot, and only one of the MC daughters names. Really, it's been over a year. But again, even more foolish pursuits are to be had on crowdfunding model. with games with a billion dollars and 14 years to make them. Is that an excuse no, just that this DEV isn't Chris Roberts.

Hi all. Unfortunately, nothing new just yet. Alorth has fallen into some hardship on his end and I still haven't gotten the renders I need to wrap things up. I can't give details about his personal situation as it's not really mine/not my business to disclose, but I don't think it will be too much longer before the renders are done. And again, as soon as I get those Ch8's in your hands/done.

Unfortunate timing of all this aside, the delay is still ultimately my fault, not Alorth's, so please give him a bit more time to get through his personal hardships. There's also some good news to come out of this, which is that I was able to get a significant head start on Chapter 9, on my end, as mentioned previously. That head start will help immensely with making the deadline, which will be announced shortly.

In the meantime, here's some never before seen previews of Chapter 8! Who is this never-before-seen mystery girl? What are the triplets (and friends) up to? Who, or what, has gotten them looking so grim? What is Allison hiding under that pillow and why?! Vanessa is looking awful, what's gotten into her? Will this be one of the more turbulent chapters, with a name like Discord..?

I hope this makes the wait a little more bearable and lets you guys know I'm not just making shit up or sitting on my thumbs.

the post above yours was an update from the dev, its the two week update that's three weeks late telling everyone that nothing is happening but its not his fault because its his fault.

Fuck sake this dude is such a lair lol, didn't he mention in one in his previous Posts that only testing remains yet now in this Post he wrote that Renders are still missing. Why are still so many paying this asshat of a human being is beyond me. I'm glad i canceled long ago.

I don't regret financial support in the sense that I discovered AVNs, including Radiant in March 2024, which meant I played the first five chapters and was blown away by the writing and art. I paid a year of Gold, which got me ch 6 and ch 7 during that span. I renewed, but a year passed with nothing new, so I cancelled. I don't regret the support. I can only root for Ryan to get his shit together. If he disappears, we are down to just a handful of devs, some unreliable like him, making games with similar tags.

And thanks for sharing the preview renders. Ryan hinted a while back that MC will wake up at Brooke's and hinted we will get our second encounter with Norah. I imagine Brooke with be taking hungover Chelsea home in the meantime or something along the lines of leaving MC and Norah alone. This is also supposed to be the chapter dedicated to maybe popping Allie.

Again, fantastic game but Ryan's lack of transparency plus his video grame and Twitter addictions get in the way of progress. Alorth threatened to pull his name from the credits last year if the delays continued. He has a good reputation with his neko AVN (not my cup of tea), so I doubt he is the reason for this long drag.
