I didn't give Rockstar any money for Red Dead 2 till it released.. then I spent a lot for collectors edition and some misc. merch.
But if you can get people to give you shit for free, take it...

Sadder that the loudest complaints usually come from the people who paid the least if anything.
If you Gave the developer money and got personally screwed then my sympathies to you and please feel free to vent if it helps.
Lesson to be learned for sure though..stop financing these Dev's tll its either or done or till they prove they are trustworthy.

Everyone talking about the scam of the Crowdfunding model, all I can think of Is Chris Roberts billion dollars raised and no Star Citizen and no Squadron 42. Patreon devs with adult visual novels are small potatoes compared to that. How many promise a game and over ten years later there is no game. We have alphas and betas. No you don't have a finished game. How we go from making Wing Commander games to this. To get back on topic. It would be nice to not have a second game dead and abandoned by this dev. Sir Dammed. Polarity was the one wasn't It, he abandoned.
