Belgium do something recently?
And, it seems, being named using the rudest word in the galaxy....We had elections a while back, might have a government somewhere next year.

From a 45 year old book. I read in the radio program they just used the word "fuck." UK radio not US obviously. This was in a 1980s book about the series by Douglass Adams. And, it seems, being named using the rudest word in the galaxy....![]()
All they have to do is find a way to attribute the persons property as coming from the proceeds of crime. If the person has no other job and gets money from something illegal, it's very easy for them to take everything.Didn't this all start at an airport? I read.....somebody got in trouble at an airport and got their
laptop confiscated, and they found the game Proud Father on it, and that is how this all
started.
But they confiscated everything at his house, including toys and a pinball machine,
I think he had a pool table and they took that to. They call this evidence,
it's basically a snatch and grab where they take all your stuff and keep it for
themselves. Like say someone is raided for selling cocaine and he owns
a 400K Ferrari 812 GTS, the next thing you know the chief has
himself a new car.
Historically speaking, didn't Australia start out as a penal colony?Well, what do you want? Australia - the only way to leave there is by plane or by boat - not everyone can afford it.
That is, in essence, people there are locked up like sardines in a barrel - you can conduct various experiments on them and people cannot escape anywhere.
In America or Europe, this is a kind of freedom - you don't like the order in Belgium, for example - you run away to France. You get tired of Canada - you go to Mexico or even Brazil.
Australia is like a prison, they used to send unwanted people there. That's why extremism of the authorities flourishes there.
Even if you were to try to be anonymous, the only real way to do that would be literally running tails OS with TOR on an encrypted thumb drive that you can quickly dispose of. And even then there's always a potential risk. It's unwise for developers not to protect their anonymity.
No, Australia had its own native people, it was the British who set up a penal colony in the late 18th century.Historically speaking, didn't Australia start out as a penal colony?
It is quite easy to find if you look for "Geelong" and "child abuse", but apparently he pleaded guilty for producing child something. The article is behind a paywall, but I dont want to link it since it also contains Westys full name.Did he end up guilty of distribution of the funny content after all or was the main reason for his jail time this supposed stalking of an ex?
oooppppsssssss.... and this is uncool!files containing child abuse material involving real children.
Oh I didn't know anything about that last part. Well if that is true then yea, he 100% deserves to be in prison. I am all for freedom when it comes to fictional content but when you start dealing with the real stuff then you should be punished. It is quite easy to find if you look for "Geelong" and "child abuse", but apparently he pleaded guilty for producing child something. EDIT: Found also this: X home was raided on August 2 last year and police seized multiple electronic devices, which not only contained more than 140,000 child abuse files related to the game itself but 577 files containing child abuse material involving real children.
If the last part is true, it is deserved. You can always argue about the fictional stuff and the 140k files were clearly renders and things like that, but the other real files are sickening.
Are you aware that in Australia Medical weed is a big business. Its cheap and the cops can not arrest you for possession. If you are selling, your fuckedTell yourself whatever you want however 'Possession' is a crime!
Same as with drugs. You cannot buy, sell or posess.
The various Aboriginal groups arrived a lot earlier than us but they are not native, nor are they all related. Some look more Tamil, where as the ones in Northern Queensland are related to Pacific Islanders and from Papua New Guinea. The Brits set up Australia as a Penal Colony, after they got kicked out of America. 200 years ago, being a crim got you sent to Australia. These days, if you have a serious crim history, you wont be allowed in. 1868 was the last Official convict transport ship to Australia. No, Australia had its own native people, it was the British who set up a penal colony in the late 18th century.
Or they planted evidence, reckoning that some people might be sympathetic toward a perp who had only virtual images, perhaps enough to eventually get rid of such asinine laws (most likely not from just this case but a preponderance of them over years, many people rotting in prison for fake shit, assuming Australia has reformist organizations like most more-or-less democratic societies do). Probably such "evidence" will always be "found" sooner or later for every single virtual "rock spider" to make sure they are all placed beyond the pale and reform is stymied, just like cops do here in the U.S.
Bluntly speaking, that's pretty deep into tinfoil hat territory. Unless there's real evidence that the images were planted I see no reason to assume that's the case just because we want it to be.Or they planted evidence, reckoning that some people might be sympathetic toward a perp who had only virtual images, perhaps enough to eventually get rid of such asinine laws (most likely not from just this case but a preponderance of them over years, many people rotting in prison for fake shit, assuming Australia has reformist organizations like most more-or-less democratic societies do). Well, that's kinda exactly what you'd expect if there were an ongoing investigation uncovering more crimes, no?You're most likely correct.
I'm just fascinated by how every time we hear about this case, there is more and more shit added to it to make Westy sound worse. First it was just his game, which consisted of obviously not-real images, that was only illegal due to Australia's idiotic laws. Then, suddenly there was stuff about blackmailing girls or something. Now there are supposedly images of real children and self-produced voyeur stuff. Next he will be a kingpin of preteen prostitution or some shit.![]()
