We don't know. There are a lot of games on SS right now that have their pages gone. We have to wait for the people at subscribestar to respond to the devs. Until then we won't know what is going on.

I wouldn't hold my breath for that, SS is is notoriously shit when it comes to communication and customer service. In The Narrator's case for the previous 4 months no one could upgrade their free sub to a paid tier and they ignored his emails and mine that whole time ( I even sent screenshots of the error code when my cc was declined while trying to upgrade, in this instance even setting up a new crytpo account just for this transaction would have been less of a headache). Then they just ban him without any reason given or communication at all while bullshitting everyone and marking it "removed by account owner". Not to mention countless devs that have been "under review" with a new account for years and never actually getting either approved or denied (in reality denied, but without the courtesy to inform them of that).

Devs like seath and ketzal are probably big enough for them to actual respond. Let's wait and see what happens. The accounts of those devs aren't gone so there is still some hope.

Looks pretty official to me when there's no update for 2 years lol. I'm not sure if this place has rules like F95 where they will flag games as abandoned without any updates/communication after a certain period of time or if they can even automate it but it's definitely something that should be added if they don't just so it's clear to users.

yeah I'd say so. Most sites call it dead at 18 months and this is way past that. It's not looking hopeful in any case, at this rate the dev will end up like Nefastus and dead from age or bad health before it's finished anyway. And not only that his SS has been dead as part of the loli purge since Dec 15th, with no effort to move it to Unifans like the active devs have done, so yeah, it's abandoned for all intents and purposes.

While this game has many rookie mistakes, one thing it did excellent: build-up.
The way the girls were riling him up looked planned, I'm sure they had a great birthday gift in mind... Too bad it's unlikely we'll ever see this story continued after more than 2 years of silence.

Yes. The dev had medical and financial issues that kept interfering with them making the game. I hope they will be able to come back to it some day, but for now, consider it abandoned.
