I completely agree. For vore it depends somewhat on whether it's same size or giantess/mini person, and also fatal/nonfatal. Some people like the power dynamic of it, in particular with fatal. On the other hand a lot of nonfatal descriptions of it will emphasize closeness or that the "prey" is comfortable and able to relax. GTS fetish in general has a lot of casual killing, which can emphasize the power of the giantess or the helplessness of the victim, so vore fits in. There can also be some overlap with absorption fetish, there are a lot of endings where the predator is either sexier or takes on some trait of the prey.
There can also be a hedonism aspect, in that the predator is eating whatever they want without regard for consequences. Kind of an extreme version of belly stuffing.
Honestly I understand creature vore much less, but IRL people do get eaten by animals so I guess people could fetishize that.
