If all parties involved are getting off, is anything really bad happening though? Like, I myself wouldn't want to be cucked, and because of this I find it hard to put myself in the cucks shoes. But I think this idea of an exploitive, status symbol wife is something that actually rarely happens. Sure there can be failing marriages with this dynamic or maybe more high status examples amongst the rich and famous, but I don't think most people into the fetish are in that specific situation. I also think that this idea fails to take into account that all parties involved have some level of agency and input as all of them are participating in the sex act together, at least in a sense. So for all the power of the situation to be held by one specific party with superficial attractiveness doesn't seem realistic to me.

I think a far better way of looking at it is being the opposite end of the spectrum as swingers. Both involve swapping sex partners and being non-monogamous, but cuckoldry differs in that its only one parter doing the act. Despite this difference one thing is the same: theres a social contract being metaphorically signed to participate in the deed. Someone just cheating on you behind your back is not seeking your consent in the act, but someone doing so with you knowing and agreeing is. This of course doesn't account for abusive partners pressuring their partner into agreeing but that honestly goes beyond the pale of the conversation. I still think a majority of cucks are willing as that's the specific fetish they want and the dynamic they sought out in a partner. While I may not like the fetish myself, boiling it down to being mostly disingenuous does a disservice to peoples individual desire for sexual freedom & fulfillment.
