discussion People Who Play Games on Android, Why?

So I am a Windows guy, and it seems like everything is accessible to me, but under any game I download there seems to be someone asking for an Android version. I assume its on your phone but I'm honestly not sure, LMK what the deal is.

I used to play AVNs on my phone before I bought myself a laptop to make my own AVNs... and from that point on... I used my laptop to play everything on.
I no longer use my phone to play any sort of AVN because of its small screen and miss-tapping on the choices.

Some people may find using an Android more convenient & simpler, but (just that small screen).

Honestly, I'm interested in this question too. Judging by the endless requests of “Android, please” during the discussion of this or that game here or on *95* there are quite a lot of such people.
I'm careful to make that assumption.
1. Relatives have access to the desktop at home, who are not familiar with the hobby of an android lover and whose reaction may be unpredictable.
2. the person simply does not have a personal computer.
3. the person is a fanatical enthusiast of mobile devices.
4. the person can play on a smartphone or tablet in the toilet, in bed, on a park bench or near the house.
Nothing else comes to mind. I tried to play on android, but almost immediately stopped the experiment - it is inconvenient to use the touchscreen, the screen is personally small for me. Even a diagonal of 10 inches is very small, not to mention smartphones with a diagonal of 6, maximum (there are some) 7 inches. It's just ruining my eyesight.

For me personally, I just sometimes get the urge to play on Android.
Also sometimes I don't have my PC at hand, so I play on my phone.

Was it not awkward when holding your phone, I feel like that would just be alot to hold (in one hand)?

Can't empty that recycle bin.

I bought it back in October 2023, made 2 games so far, going pretty well I'll say.

I would hold my phone with both hands, or leave it on my bed with the screen on the top to relax whilst playing.

Well, you can always reset it to the default state for a clean up, or maybe have a spare one lying around just for this? Otherwise, i also think that most who want those, tend to read those in bed, like others normal books.

I tried this once and it felt.. off compared to playing on my PC. Not my thing honestly.
Ren'py just flows so good on PC with right click to enter menu, ctrl to skip etc.. not to mention it being easier to mod if needed.

Technically you can, but the logistics are not so good . That's why I bought a nice phone so I can play and emulate any VN that comes across my patch

Games on tablet is for the stealth fap in the bathroom or the shower if you're somewhere where you can't do it on the PC. Like guests are visiting or something.
