Most often its for replay value. Plenty of AVNs are realistic (ie Where The Heart Is, shit goes south hard and MC probably ends up with no one if you treat that as a harem AVN). Girls will get pissed if they find out you are cheating on them and are not okay with sharing just like they most likely wouldn't be in real life. 10 girls = 10 playthroughs if you want to see them all naked (possibly less if a couple of them are ok with a throuple or open relationship). For me this one is a pass for the simple reason I can't get the taboo patch to work (no time for vanilla).

WTHI while not a total harem game, allows you a lot of latitude for both fucking around and also not finding out if you are really good or just use the walkthrough to end up with with a technical harem level of girls, not everyone, but still many while even fucking most if not all of them at some point.

It is unclear why this graphomaniac opus without content has a high rating on a number of sites, in fact, the game has been almost 3 years old, and it has not budged, the beautiful interface and all sorts of other beauties are cool, but they do not move the plot, and without this there is nothing to evaluate. All sorts of jokes, understandable mainly to the inhabitants of Russia, but it's not Russia in the game, but its fantasy image, the way the fucking bourgeoisie see it.

But the game got total remake from 0.2.x . Even the screenshots are from old version and don't exist in new one. So is there a taboo patch for new version?

Dev roping/milking his concept build hard. In the process incest got slashed. Doubt that with such amazing speed of development anything of note will be ever delivered under this title.

- frontloaded release. Game promised alot, hence why high rating. Same thing as with EA games in Steam. Not a lot people actually bother to go and change their review to negative one or just delete positive old one.
