discussion New to LC and pleasantly surprised

Hello there!

I recently found this forum in search for a specific game and joined, not knowing about the whole coins system and the requirements for getting to "the good stuff". I looked through some of the threads and did not expect to find this level of civilised discussion on an 18+ forum. So far, no entitled manchildren to be seen, which is a relief.

So here I go, interacting with an 18+ community for the first time, hoping to become Member+ after a while and discover some new games on the way. I am mostly interested in hand drawn 2D art, but 3D is also fine, if done right. In terms of themes, I am pretty much open for anything.

Favorites so far have been House Chores, Unteralterbach, and pretty much anything by Ota Guchi Field, NLT Games and NTRMan. Would love to find more along those lines!

The main thing here is not so much games (there are sites with a much larger selection), but a good forum and a very pleasant community. Even though, for example, I'm interested in pure vanilla games, nevertheless, it's possible to communicate very well here.

I noticed that too, and some in-development games I checked out are behind on their version number. But I can always check the other sites if I feel I need to for specific games. Just have to remember not to read the comments there...

I gotta say, the people here are surprisingly chill. This is the first real forum I've used in a long while, so maybe I just got used to the chaos and insanity of social media. But I gotta say, this is a nice change of pace.

Welcome and good luck, i have to say, i was into 2D at first but now i am more of an 3D stan with the occasional 2D game RPGM and such aswell.

Welcome. I'm new myself and have also been trying to get to the goods. I'm not sure why everything has to be locked behind a LCs paywall. Beyond this, it took me reading a few specific forums just to explain how to gain access. I finally figured out that there used to be a "restricted" list, which is now just Games+? I could be wrong. If this is true it takes 85 LCs to unlock members+, which inherently includes Games+ and ai+. I found this out by going into shop>ranks. I'm currently sitting at 6 LCs are making a couple posts. Let the grind continue I guess.

Well, it’s actually not that hard; someone here took five hours to meet the necessary requirements, and the only thing missing was the seven-day account age. Personally, I managed it in two days, but I ended up buying it with my donation coins anyway...
