I'm starting to doubt this "in development" shit, but who am I to be complained . Welp, anyway, let's wait for a "decade", shall we?
Dude, dev wrote like 5 posts above yours, one month ago to say that's worked on....

Hi fellow adult game connoisseurs.

Came to say hi and try to answer a few things about the game development that I have seen in this and other forums.

Why is taking so long and there is no release date in sight?
As explained before I had been struggling to have free time to work on the game, I used to have 4-5 daily hours available to work on the game, now I have 1 hour a week, thanks to my day job and other stuff, but I'm still developing the game, I'm currently reworking a lot, not all, of the early scenes in the game either by recreating them from scratch in DAZ/Blender or with the help of AI.

Why are you using AI in the game?
AI will be only used for animations, this means I create the scene in DAZ/Blender, render between 2-6 frames, usually a start frame and multiple end frames, the use AI to create an animation of said frames, everything else, characters, locations, clothes, etc, are made by hand in DAZ/Blender, same as dialogue, all game dialogue is made by hand by me, music, sound effects, are supposed to be made by humans, or at least that's what the people who provide them say.

Why are you using AI instead of animating it in DAZ/Blender?
AI saves a lot of time, with my current hardware I need around 5-10 minutes to render a single frame, I usually need only 2 frames, start and end, to animate a scene with AI, which usually takes around an hour and a half per scene, not because AI takes an hour to create the animation but because I review and discard all the results I don't like and only use those I'm happy with, yes they aren't perfect but they are way better than what I could do in DAZ/Blender.

If you are using AI and it's faster then why is taking so long?
Yes, AI helps a lot, but it's not perfect, it takes time and multiple tries to get a good result, a result which is way better than anything I could do by hand and usually in half or less time, but there is another reason, this time I'm also adding sound effects to most scenes, and that takes a lot of time as well.

Hi Etrusmo. I'm happy to see that you are still working on the project. Your efforts are very much appreciated.

Now for my two cents. Your earlier work on the game is just fine. Nobody expects the early parts of the game to be perfect. Rather than re-working early parts of the game, I would prefer to see the story move forward. In fact, I feel that it would be a pity to throw away the earlier renders in favor of replacing them with newer ones.

It's just one of those sad facts when working on a project like this that your newest work is probably going to be better than your older work. That's just how experience works. Over time, and with access to newer tools, your products will improve over time. Don't let perfection be the enemy of the good. By that, I mean your work is already good. Perfection will come with time.

I too would love to see what happens next! But I'm good with starting over with a reworked version if it means that it more closely meets your vision of it.

Another monthly , and boring, reminder that I'm still alive and working in the game, sorry for not bringing good news yet.
