A new cleanup update has been posted covering the recent Vault rework, rank changes, policy cleanup, and theme polish.
The goal is to make LC cleaner, easier to understand, and safer for the site going forward.

The second part of chapter 11. We are almost there. Our plans against the Casino Gang advance steadily, in the same way, the characters' relationships develop.
Final release for chapter 10. With that we conclude another chapter. We did our best to keep things well between us and the Casino Gang. We can expect to get their full cooperation from now on.
We also have a new feature that we are testing. Supporters now have access to update codes. Under the main screen's build version, you can click the update button and input the code. This will allow you to install alphas, betas, releases, and special scenes quickly. This new feature was also added to v0.10.0.1. So, if you have downloaded it and want to update to 0.10.4 you can already use it. This is a new feature, and bugs might occur. If you have any issues, please tell me, and send me any error codes or messages you might get. On a sad note, I couldn't make it work for Mac yet. I believe there are limitations and the SO just won't let me change any files inside the game.
All fixed and tested for the first of three parts of chapter 10. We will try to fix things with the Casino Gang to the best of our ability. They are still a necessary evil, as there are worse problems around. At the same time, your relationship progresses with the others, sometimes for better and other times for worse.
Special 3 is now available.
The final version of the first part of chapter 9. Everything should be fixed and organized. Last chapter had a lot of set up, now let's see some consequences and move the story forward.
Final release of chapter 8. One more down, 16 to go. This chapter has a lot of setup for things that will pay out later. We should go back to the offensive in the next chapter. If the oozes are to attack again, it should be soon. The second special scene is now available on Patreon/Subscribestar. Like the last special scene, we flashback to a long time ago. This time around 150 years ago, when MC was a young adult and worked as a mercenary. We will watch as he tries to get Bianka, a Half-elf girl, to her father. This scene might give you some insight on how much he changed in the last century.

Chapter 7 was revised and fixed. We got to the end of day 47. A bunch of things happened in this chapter, new questions, and some answers. The breaking of the second seal, and some of its consequences. We might end this one with a bit of a cliffhanger. Now, to chapter 8.
The second part of this chapter. The next release should be 0.7 with the conclusion of this chapter. At first, I planned to make releases only of the whole chapter, so the 'main story' was going to happen at the start and end of chapters. With the days in between being more of a slice of life. Since I changed to monthly releases (and after some feedback), I started to better distribute the main story. So we get a bit of the main story each in-game day. I think that has been working well.

The final release on chapter 5. From the beta I have done a bunch of reviews, added sfx, updated walkthrough, and updated the extras screen. I did a bunch of changes to the profile screen, it actually has a profile now. It has some information on the girls, and allow you to change their outfit on this screen. This is the first version of this screen, I do plan to improve it later.
Today is the 1-year anniversary of Secret Island. The first public release was made exactly 1 year ago. 4 chapters released in the spawn of a year. Around the same time it took to make my first release. The first chapter was the hardest, from learning how to use Chara Studio, to getting used to Renpy, and changing my mind about the game, it took way more time than just making it. I believe I made big improvements to the game thanks to the feedback of many of you. So, a big thanks to everyone who plays the game!
