Tried to watch true detective season 3 and 4, end up deleting them halfway. Good riddance, onto the next one.

Estoy esperando la película del Joker aunque va a ser un musical todavía quiero verla

well i haven't watched much movies in 2024 none that really stood out anyway but I'm really looking forward to 28 years later.

Just watched allienoid 1 and 2. Pretty average but for a Korean film it was pretty high up there.

it was silly to me that so many people could ride on sand worms at once, when its apparently so hard to mount it as one guy
It's explained more in the book.

Catching a sandworm involves setting up a thumper, and trying to get close enough to the sandworms path that you can run up to it before it leaves, but not so close that you will be buried by the initial surge of sand, all while trying to account for the worm changing its motion on its own. Once a rider is on the worm, they can guide it to a much more convenient mounting location in a much more predictable fashion.

Plus, catching a sandworm is a rite of passage for Fremen children. Most people riding the sandworm are also capable of catching one.

Beetlejuice 2, I'm really looking forward to it, I'm a fan of the first one and the animated series, I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with this one.

I thought Dune 1 was better than Dune 2, but both very good.
Agreed, but without part 2, part 1 would be incomplete. It's really like one long movie.
I think part 2 could have benefitted from being 20 mins longer. There were a few plot points that were just rushed through.
Christopher Walken was criminally underused. Would have been nice to have more scenes building up the Emperor.
I also didn't like how he portrayed Chani at the end of part 2. I see what he's trying to do, but I don't think it's a good change.

Dune Part 2 is certainly a contender for movie of the year, but I was slightly disappointed by it after the incredible spectacle of Dune Part One. The lore and worldbuilding of Dune 1 made it a treat to watch again and again to learn every aspect of it. The pacing of Dune 2 felt very off and messy, and just felt very rushed. The tranformation of Stilgar (played by the incredible Javier Bardem) from a friend/mentor to a blind follower was the highlight of Dune Part Two for me.

Recently had a conversation with my father who was confused why it was Dune part 2, since it covered the same plot as Dune part 1.

Eventually I convinced him that the 1984 version was not part 1.

inglourious basterds. 10/10, Christoph Waltz carried the entire show.

Hmmm, Godzilla Minus One and Boy Kills World were fun to watch but they are sadly marked as 2023 flicks. So far for this year "If" was the one I watched twice. Just a kids movie but was well acted and written so huzzah for that one.

Nothing so far has grabbed me, however I'm looking forward to Deadpool and Wolverine.
I have high hopes that long awaited team up will give some great laughs.

Sweet Tooth is an immersive experience.

Dune II and Godzilla minus one were top notch. But if you get some friends and get drunk, Velocipastor will be a lot of fun too

Well... i have to do this: as an argentinian i must recommend When Evil Lurks, an international co-production of Argentina and the United States. A GREAT horror movie you MUST watch.

"Boys" "House of the Dragon"
I waited Alien, Based on the trailer it will be a good horror movie
