here we go again.
why is it you have an account on every single lewd game forum & reply to every post on said forums but are clueless when it comes to the use of words ?
look who laughed at my post 5 days before you replied, but you took it seriously ?????????

I knew it was a joke, just calling it as I see it with joking aside. If an update comes out at the last minute before that happens great but I'm not seriously expecting it to at this point. And I have an account on every single lewd game forum & reply to every post on said forums because me and my AI army can, though would probably be better used on pumping and dumping crypto prices if the army gets big enough.
I would just like to reiterate that for the most part these devs are doing this FOR FREE. Even with stuff like SubscribeStar you're payng for enhanced access to what already exists, or tipping as appreciation. These people don't work for you. If they give you a target date it's an ESTIMATE, of how long they expect things to take, without knowing what might come up, or even if their priorities might change. you aren't owed strict adherence to it. In fact, you aren't owed a fucking thing. A dev could simply lose interest in a project and never finish it, and that's 100% within their rights.
Or, ya know, they could abandon a game (or the hobby all together) because they're sick of feeling pressured and berated by people who take and take and give nothing back. You could, at this very moment, be adding to the very problem you're so offended by. But by all means, keep creating a hostile environment for devs and making the process less enjoyable for them - I'm sure that will get you what you want.
I apologize for these guys, Cinn. Rest assured most of us love and appreciate your work, and will be excited to check it out WHEN YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE RELEASING IT.

Or, here's a crazy idea, people could remember these are people volunteering their time to entertain us unpaid, in addition to whatever else they have going on in their lives, and take those dates as what they are - estimates. If it's not done by then, it's not done by then. What are you gonna do, fire them?
Seriously, some people need to get their priorities in check and learn to cope better with uncertainty in their FREE ENTERTAINMENT. The last thing we need is for these spaces to become so toxic that we drive more devs away from making these games.
If we want to make these spaces less toxic then we should spend our time offering solutions rather than adding to the complaining. Complaining about other people complaining is still complaining. Our time would be better spent making constructive comments rather than wishful thinking.

"what this needs is: "thread bans"
that will shut up the complainers.
the dev is not your parent(s), if your parent(s) say you can go to play in the park on Tuesday & they don't take you to the park, you can flip your shit on them.
a game dev is different, you don't know them, they don't know you & they are not offering you anything personally.

No matter how many comments you make you aren't going to change these people. Your time would be better spent trying to come up with solutions that will help the dev have an easier time. All you're doing right now is berating people and vainly hoping that upon seeing your comments they will magically see the errors of their ways. That's not going to happen. Bans might help but no one here has the authority to enact that change. The best we can do is ignore the complainers or make suggestions to the dev about things he actually has the power to do.
I've noticed that no matter where you go, the number of people complaining about other people complaining always seems to outweigh the number of people actually complaining. Seriously, whenever you see a few comments of people complaining about something it is always inevitable that an avalanche of people saying "people need to stop complaining" will follow. It's a snake eating it's own tail.
Since most of you people don't know how it feels to publish a game and the preassure feeling and reading every comment etc.
you cannot feel what I felt like. So giving it a date to release the game feels good so it gets more real, so I force myself to do so.
I hope all the negativity doesn't discourage you. I'm certain majority of your fanbase waits silently for any progress you make.
And thank you for putting out content for free! I wish I could contribute financially to content creators whose work I enjoy, but I'm unfortunately heading further into debt month by month
Let me be a bit of positivity amid all the negativity.
The pacing is good, the story is bite-sized, with each day offering different events to move through.
Interactivity is minimal, as each day mostly revolves around a simple game of hide-and-seek with the daughter, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
The dialogue doesn’t feel cumbersome; it gets straight to the point and keeps things moving.
The game appears to share assets and character models with Koala Games, which works fine here.
One standout detail is the idle animations: the characters' hips and asses movements are surprisingly fluid and eye-catching, adding a bit of visual flair even during downtime.
The joyful music rounds things out nicely without ever distracting from the reading.
It’s a game that’s worth checking out and keeping an eye on.
I think the dev said in a previous comment that he runs his own company so presumably he has very little time to actually work on this. Possibly only one day out of the week or something like that. Also I would assume that since they've had to delay past several promised release dates that they'll really make sure the update is ready to go before releasing it. I mean, If I were developing a game and I had to push back the release date several times I would probably decide to take the time that's necessary to make sure the update comes out as polished as I can reasonably make it. Releasing a rushed product would kind of defeat the whole purpose of delaying it. At this point it would make more sense to just work on it at a regular pace rather than try to meet yet another deadline. So presumably they won't give another release date and will just send out the update on whatever day they finish it on. But this is all just speculation.

Also to add on to this comment (while this is still complete speculation) if we are to assume that the dev only has one day out of the week to work on the game or something along those lines and we also assume that the game needs, let's say three more days of development, then it will take three weeks to finish if we follow that schedule. So even though the game is very nearly finished, which we can probably assume it is given that the dev thought he would be able to finish it several weeks ago, it still might be a while. We could be looking at a few more weeks rather than a few more days but this all depends on how much time the dev is able to dedicate to it. And as I've said in my previous comment, I don't think it makes sense for the dev to rush or sacrifice his other obligations to get the update out given how much its already been delayed. The impatient people are still gonna be pissed off and the patient people are still gonna be patient. There's no need to be dedicating unreasonable amounts of time into the update at this point.
On the one hand I can understand wanting the next update really REALLY bad, MtaD is one of the best games on this or any other like minded site.
On the other hand it would be nice if some people would grow the fuck up and lose the sense of entitlement. The dev doesn't owe any of us anything. Maybe look into taking up a hobby other than jerking off to help keep you distracted until the next update is ready?
I'm going to laugh my ass off if this update ends up being like 10 mins of game play.
Since everybody else wants to have an opinion on the delays and such. I'll also throw mine in that nobody will care about. I don't care about the delays. I just think it's a shitty look for the developer to basically outright lie, which is unrelated to the delays. October 26th they said they were almost done with animations, and thought they could finish them by the end of the month. We are 2.5 months past the end of October and they're still rendering and doing animations. They weren't even close to being done with the animations in October, that was just a straight up lie.

What makes you think that's a lie rather than a poor estimation? My previous comment explains how, even with being nearly finished, the update can still take a while depending on the dev's schedule. You could assume that the dev was lying but you can also assume that he either poorly predicted how much work he had left or poorly estimated how much time he would have to work on it. Between the dev's actually job, personal obligations, and time with family it's reasonable to say that finding time to work on a loli porn game isn't very easy. Do you have more evidence to say that the dev outright lied? Because this can be easily explained by the dev either not being able to find as much time to work on the game as he thought he could or he was simply bad at estimating how long the remaining work he had left would take or how much of it there was. Lots of other devs also have a hard time predicting how long the development time will take and that's not limited to porn games. Hell, GTA six is still getting delays and that's being developed by an entire team of developers at one of the biggest and most experienced companies in game development. It's not hard to believe that a single dev (or perhaps team, I don't know how many people are working on this) isn't able to predict accurately how long it will take them to finish something that is merely their hobby or side project. The dev COULD be lying but I feel like that is just a negative assumption unless you have more evidence to support that conclusion.
At this point I think Cinn has received more than enough bashing. Yeah, he made some poor estimates, it's just a matter of not estimating at all in the future if it can't realistically be done. It's better to just say 'I'm still working on it, don't expect anything soon' simpliciter. We can just let it rest and let Cinn do whatever he feels like doing. More criticism about the dev's past decisions with estimations won't change the facts and won't motivate him either.
