I wonder if it's the same guy selling other decent-length-but-dead-for-2-years AVNs on Steam to the gullible fools that don't know about how to get it for free and assume it was picked back up and will actually get updates. AOA Academy (no update since April 2022) and a bunch of others are still sold that way even with the devs still alive and telling everyone that it's not them resuming it in the few cases they even bother un-ghosting everyone. It's actually kinda genius, a few hundred bucks for very little of their own effort other than making a page on Steam, wish I would have thought of it.

actually share a server with this guy for several years, he is an upright dude thusfar. he has talked about this before he started his own avn, now he has one underway decided to move onto this. he has made numerous test images.... looking at what I have seen I would say its a genuine attempt to carry on a beloved favorite.
IF he has a fault its soccerball boobs, but since the models already exist we only have to worry about new characters.

its now restarted by another dev who knew Nef and has original resources... I'm actually plying the beta and so far 1 bug Nef never fixed was caught. I forgot how much content there was ( you have to play through old stuff first) and here is a quote from farwestchef yesterday

As much flak as Ai is getting, for legitimate reasons, with the rates its progressing and its ease of access, i can easily see a time where using Ai video generation and referencing images and animations from existing abandoned AVNs, one could easily take it upon themselves to remake/continue the AVN themselves without the need for original assets. Just input reference images and animations from the OG game and let the Ai generator spit out new scenes.
Untill that time comes,, its a very welcome thing to see examples like this with a new dev taking up the task of continuing an abandoned AVN.
looking forward to seeing if the new Dev can continue without there being to much of a obvious change in style, both story wise and art/scene wise.

And not too long after that AI takes over the world with a rogue AI-controlled military drone swarm and replaces human gov't's with a single global AI-ran one. At least that's my hope anyway.

It was abandoned. a new dev has taken over and is doing updates and continuing it.
That was on front page.
