When an MC gets into a relationship with their Mom do you prefer if they keep refering to them as Mom or that they start using their first name?

I think when they start refering to them as their first name you lose something and they start feeling more like a generic LI.

Really depends on the story and its tone.

then after any fun activities.... then maybe change to the actual name.
