Those proportions of the older characters are odd

Well kudos that the author at least did a 2nd pass to get rid of extra digits (the teddy bear is still pretty bad), but even still they're bad enough to detract. And yeah as mentioned character proportions being inconsistent on a scene to scene basis is not a good look. Better than most but still in the ai slop bucket.

But on the positive side of things glad we're seeing more attempts with the subject matter, even better that they're more refined.
Recently just looked back at LWA from Lain and it's crazy the pushback that generated. Can have mythical creatures like faeries and obnoxiously large heads on the characters but if they're too rounded and have too much eye detail the pixels are real!

Hard to compare most things with Bored Kitty. Absolutely my favorite game right now, and being left with our current “end of season cliffhanger” for at least a few months (work faster, Void!) is a delicious slow-burn that left most everyone wanting more. Most games don’t come close to that after years of development, let alone update 2…
