Yeah it's the unfortunate reality that usually the side that is further from the norm is going to be oppressed, especially if it relates to touchy topics even if ever so slightly. The best thing we can do is to agree to disagree and be communicative and informational rather than combative. Though there is a time when I think its okay to actively go against things and be vocal such as when it comes to laws or rules being put around it.

"Realism" of the art makes no difference for me, at the end of the day it's all just pixels.
I don't mind rape as long as it's not the main theme, but gore is a big no-no for me.
As many, many have already said: as long as nobody was hurt then what's the problem?
