For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward. I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward. - Jack Of Blades

Updated due to the game being leak elsewhere.
According to the Dev himself on the other site, the game is on hold.
Thank you for letting us know something. A lot of devs don't even bother and wait to see how long they can get people to keep paying their patreon subscriptions for nothing in return. I'd say lol but I'd not mean it. The aforementioned game is the one that pisses me off. We waited a year for the last update from them, with zero explanation and the only thing released in between were "special images" that I, as inexperienced as I am with DAZ and Blender, could render in 10-15 minutes; and sorry, that wasn't worth 50 bucks a month, (basically, I paid 600 bucks for one VERY MINIMAL update and a bunch of excuses and bullshit apologies AFTER the release....Never again). When the latest update did FINALLY come, there as less than 15 minutes of game play which was more reading than decision making, again, after over a year between updates. I've since lowered my tier with them until it gets to a release since it seems like they are milking their patreon supporters. I've decided that's how I'm doing it with all of my subscriptions now because I work hard to earn the money I spend and I'm over paying people premium tier prices for little to no work. I knew it was only a matter of time before Patreon became another home base for scammers and knockoff dev's (I've seriously come across games and other content where the scumbag took the actual dev's game, changed the title and skin colors and called it their own. So yeah, we can have all the excuses in the world, but unless someone is developing full time, they aren't earning full time and premium pay on their titles, not from me anyway.

And now you see why I seldom sub to anyone but loli devs (so no Patreon or Steam at all), and only then when they have a proven track record (and even then I still get burned sometimes, like when 13 quit before even finishing B2S or OI). Prob $5-6k wasted on dead projects over the years before I tightened my standards for who I actually pay. The few really honest devs simply set up their chosen platform to not take people's money when they don't have an update to sell, Luxee/Apartment 69 being one of them (who apparently releases an update only when he needs extra money). Used to be you funded your own damned game development and hoped to make a profit by selling copies of it after it was finished, so it was the devs' risk, not everyone else's. I miss those simpler non-conartists'-playground days.

Just pay once when it is complete....better than being a early access tester for a high chance of forever on hold or abandoned games.

Limitless was canseled????
it is about to be a year now without any update

4 more days before it becomes a year.....
Hopefully it updates eventually

Usually means a pitstop to abandoned, I guess we'll see. Would kinda suck if the MC didn't even get to put a baby in his sis.
I only played the first release of the game, didn't like that a LI is already pregnant, and never touched the game again.

Octopussy Island it's been years seemingly without an update. Dev makes double the amount of games and even fewer and smaller updates. It is not my place to complain as a non patron. I do hate the subscription model for most things. Biggest money sink other than Patreon is streaming.

I would just like to mention I have constantly kept pausing subscription on Patreon... SS is permanently paused until the time I can get an update out. Patreon is a bit of a pain where I am unable to pause continuously... I have to keep going into it each month and pausing it.

I am not trying to scam people and have mentioned constantly I just have had no time for the past year due to my RL full time work. Things are getting a lot better for me work wise now and I have been working on my games but still I'm not at 100%... hence me keep pausing subscriptions.

I didn't say that you were. I just know that there are some devs that have been doing it and it changed my way of managing my subscriptions. If the content release time doesn't come to a reasonable value for what I pay a month, I drop tiers and as I sa5d before, a "limited edition wallpaper" isn't a great promo for high dollar tiers plus 99 percent of dev's are not releasing beta/test versions between drops although most of them claim it's a perk of higher tier membership. The biggest thing on that last part, 20 or 30 extra dollars a month really doesn't equate for higher tiers getting a release a few days earlier than the lower tiers and it certainly does not constitute an early beta release. Again not you. Those who do it, know who they are and what they're up to and they've been or will be rewarded properly for their deceit.

You stay busy on here. lol. But year, 100% and 13 dipping out, I can only assume he's in the same AO as a certain creator who got locked up and panicked over pixels. 13 was a solid, steady dev and for some reason I always thought he and blackheart were one in the same, but it does not seem that way now. Anyway. I completely agree with you and I have recently shifted my interactions for the same reasons.

Thank you for the openness, and i for one will happily wait for when you can find time for what is at the end of the day entertainment.

I can whole heartly say they are not one in the same person, as I used to communicate with 13 over voice on a daily basis (He is solid, steady, great guy)... I won't go into the reason for his disappearance from everywhere however I can say honestly that I completely understand as to why he did... If I was in his position at the time, I would have done the exact same thing 100%.

I agree with you completely, there have been other dev's around that have done the same and kept their subscriptions open with never an update (Milfy City) comes to mind... cannot comment on their reasons for not doing it, but when it came to myself I would pause it as its not fair. I have always mentioned I don't do this for money, it was purely a hobby for me... I have a full time job which although v stressful I do enjoy it... and well being a family business it's not something I can or would ever come away from. I only ever opened up subs as a way to assist with keeping up with hardware changes, so that I could develop quicker, however full time work halted that for this year, hence why I paused everything and will continue until I have an OPI and Limitless update out.

I just miss 13s work. He was a unique writer and actually, this is why I dig your work. Some people don't get the darker side of this realm but I can't say its any more or less depraved than anything else like the furries and other so-called wierdos. People are just into what they're into. People that can't distinguish reality and fantasy are the biggest issue. Blackheart stuff can be super dark and it makes it unique. AVN's have begun to replace real novels and I think it's just progress of technology. Any person with a few useable brain cells can make an AVN but it does take talent to write a good story and then to make the story branch and go other directions as well as character to character relationship dynamics that can be affected by decisions, it puts people more in the 'book' than any traditional book could ever do. Honestly, this is something we got from the story mode of GTAV and a huge reason for its popularity. I love the whole GTA series, (even the 2D) and the character involvement took it leaps and bounds ahead of everything else. I guess I could bitch about the amount of time its taken to get VI but, if Rockstar does what Rockstar always does, we're going to see things never before seen in the gaming world and I'm pretty sure that they're even developing the game for VR immersion. It would be stupid move to not do that, IMO. But back to the subject at hand. I appreciate the work and effort you guys put into these stories and do not ever mean to sound ungrateful except in the instances of those who take advantage of supporters, those people can eat a dick. I have to thank Dr. Pinkcake and NLT for really bringing me over to all of this. Being a Dik and Treasure of Nadia were my first forays into all of this and although I don't get to spend a lot of time with it, the devs that produce an interactive and nicely polished finished product and actually engage their target demographic are always going to stand out. So thank you again for corresponding and letting us know what is up. I understand being busy all too well and am fortunate enough that I make my own hours to work. Deadlines are the only way that time can ever affect my scheduling decisions and although the happen frequently, I'm usually so far ahead on my work that it's never a problem. Have a good one, friend and we look forward to what's to come. (finally....LOL sorry, I had too. Seriously, it was a cheap shot, but funny to me. It doesn't take much (head down in shame) smh....)

with her sisters baby, so there's that.
I just didn't like her face :P

Subscription services are kind of a hassle like that - maybe ich.io would be better for like all you lewdevs?
Since it has a a pay if you want function too - could do like really major updates with a required payment if u wanted to, and then smaller ones free, would technically get the same effect as time-gating for subscribers as many devs do while entirely removing the need to mess with subscription pausing, let them send ya monthly if they want =)

If you use paragraphs when you write I think more people would read your posts. Not trying to be snarky It’s just that when I see a wall of text I just skip it and go on to the next post.

I’m probably not the only person who does that. Just a thought.

I used to use that site, however there was suspicions that they were involved in what happened to another Dev of a lewd game (Which i will not mentioned, however I'm sure everyone knows)... and as such I distanced myself from said site, even though my game does not contain the sort of stuff their one did.

All good. I was in go mode.

Fun game, slow on the updates
